Well...shit.

But if it was a Cabal member, then that doesn't make sense.
It doesn't really make sense anyway.
More likely something bad happened.

Sounds like it was Don Juan, I think.

Seriously, he missed the sales tax from the one riddle. He's missed several other things, I'm sure. He has barely been able to solve a thing without us. And now, he didn't recognize Cinderella. He's seen her twice before meeting Sandy. We've shown him the video. He couldn't recognize her? This is not characteristic of the real Holmes. This world is changing him like it's changed all the others.
I don't think he's dumbing down. Holmes usually takes a little while to think things over and collect evidence before he comes to his conclusions - otherwise, the books would all be five pages. The difference is, here he doesn't have all the time in the world to conjecture.

The apartment sounds like it belongs to Moriarty, judging by the math papers.

Agreed.

I agree. Moriarty. For the same reasons.

Didn't notice that. It would make more sense.
(They could be working together of course)

Has Holmes been told about Cabel or Moriarty yet? If not we should do so now.

I'm sure both have been mentioned to him, but it couldn't hurt to mention it again at this point.
Holmes-
We believe the culprit (or culprits) is a member of a group known as Cabal. The group is contained of four fictionals who wish to remain in our world. We also know that one of the members is someone you know, Professor Moriarty. Though we do not know their reason to have taken Cinderella other than to prehaps get your attention.

Yes, I think we should show him them anyway, it's good evidence that the Cabal are dangerous.
Question now is: what do they want with Cinderella?
