He said he will stay on guard, and he's smart and sane enough to not be manipulated. And I doubt the Cabal would kill him - they are (at least Oberon is) trying to keep all the characters in this world, so the worst case scenario is him getting kidnapped. Which is bad, but not fatal.

Well, I responded. Something is about to happen, and I'm ready to deal with a couple of different scenarios. No plan survives contact with the enemy though, so it's time to sit back and start modifying as new information surfaces.

According to Google Maps, that's a residential road. I don't see any businesses or public places. Just houses. That seems very odd.

I saw that too. I'm sure "Troy Avenue" is right, but... this just seems weird.
