Posted on the blog. As I stated there, I trust Holmes to get this thing cleared up. He isn't the type who let's himself be tricked this easily.

I'm more excited than ever. Not only is Holmes in our world, he understands what's going on, and he's about to team up with Poirot. (That is, assuming their meeting goes the way it should--there may be a spanner in the works.)

But really, I think a Holmes who understands that he's in a level of reality above his own could be our greatest possible ally.

I know, right? Hell, he may even work with us on a non-suspicious level.

Would it be advantageous of us(if Sherlock already doesn't know) to inform him that Poirot is also like him, a "fictional" character, and have him read some of the books on Poirot?
It would establish(for him) an easy connection to Poirot and allow him to guise his visiting as a search for consulting help on a case or something.

(Haven't kept too much up with Sherlock's blog)

Perhaps. He still thinks of Poirot as an enemy, so pointing out that they're on the same side... though without proof, I dunno how to convince him...

I would assume if he could acquire a book on Poirot, then he'd see that he isn't an enemy to be trounced(I'm a very using odd words mood thanks to Don Quixote) but rather an ally to help solve the situation at hand. Holmes isn't a blundering idiot, he(if he was to read a book on Poirot) would see Poirot as someone like himself, noticing little details that others miss and solving crimes that most would consider impossible.

That's my line of thinking, and he will have time to read up on Poirot. He would most likely have a flight to contest with(not likely) or 2 train rides and a boating trip over the English Channel before he meets Poirot.

I know, I just wanted to be more accurate, because even being in the same country, they could need to move by boat or plane. But it was mostly to help someone that could have missed that, just in case.

Has anyone pointed out to Holmes that we think Moriarty might be here as well?

No, but I can't say whether that's a wise move or not. He may not even know who Moriarty is, depending on what point in his timeline he was pulled from.

I left a comment saying to be careful of Arthur Moore and that he might recognise him but that's all.

We should try to link up all three good guys soon before we have our third big bad arrive. We thinks sparkles the magic running man might be someone we don't want running around. Or if the sparkles are fairies then there are a lot of stories about evil fairies, the most popular being Slender Man.

Just put a post on each detective's blog in an attempt to at least partially defuse the situation, for the time being. Holmes seems more willing to listen to me, so I attempted to reason directly with him, and on the other hand I managed to twist my usual Xanatos inspired analysis in an attempt to convince Poirot to get out of the country and cool off for the time being. Don't know if anything else is needed at the moment, but you guys think of something that might help, bring it up somewhere and let's get to planning.

I've never followed Poirot's stories, but Holmes at least tends to follow his own head more than anyone else's, mainly because he's so much more brilliant than everyone else.

We need to get Mycroft here, he at least could get through Sherlock's skull when there was no Watson.
