I don't think the cat was referring to him. However, this does mean my theory that Moore was behind it all over on Poirot's section was right. ^_^

Alright, I tried my hand at convincing Poirot, we'll see how that goes. Someone needs to get ahold of Hefner now. Any takers?

Also, Adell, good job on dealing with Poirot. That was perfect handling. However, I believe Poirot will not be convinced, so don't be too worried if he isn't. It's all part of the plot.

Hefner's replied to comments, we just need to explain to him the situation and we're golden...hopefully.

I've exchanged a couple of comments with him so far, although haven't revealed as much of what I know as St Willow has.

Hope the guy's gonna be alright... I hate to think they're being led into a trap by Holmes's greatest enemy (urgh, of all the villains in all of fiction who could possibly show up first it HAD to be Moriarty )

I'm working on Hefner now, Adell. Hopefully my lack of experience in this sort of thing won't bollox anything up.

And to Scarab, of COURSE it's Moriarty. Between how oh-so-very convoluted this whole thing is, I'm honestly not surprised. It just serves to get me all hyped up about this!

Posted a whopper of a comment on Holmes' blog. It was rushed, but I'm doing my utmost to bait a response out of the master detective. Now... to see how good a gambiter I REALLY am!

Has my giant one appeared? It says awaiting moderation, so I think that means no. I'm afraid it won't be put up because I got ninja'd a bit, but the comment that ninja'd me isn't gonna get the greatest reaction...

I don't see it, I also made a small comment myself that is awaiting moderation so most likely neither of ours can be seen. I hope we get a response soon, I have work in less than an hour.

In a a feeble attempt to get my post through, I created another post on a different topic, but referenced the first. I doubt that will help anything, but I really can't help but gambit like this. Every little bit helps.

By the way, Mr. A tweeted confirming Hefner as a POI.

Not at all. It's basically first come first serve. We need to be more careful about this in the future.

This is probably to avoid a crap ton of comments from us. This is why the conversations with Poirot worked out rather well, cause most were just back and forth with me and him. I suppose what we have is good enough. They're aware of each others blogs now, and we explained why we think they're being set up. Now we just have to hope our gambit works and they work together.

Uh, yea no. I really didn't want them to see each others blogs. That has WAY to high a chance of backfiring. To be honest, I'm pretty sure our gambit is screwed, just cause the puppetmasters don't want the plot to be that easy.

I think it was handled well, personally, if they aren't going to work together then they aren't going to work together, regardless of what we typed. But if there's a chance we can prevent them from falling for Moore's trap, what we wrote should do it.

I've found a discrepancy between Poirot and Sherlock's blogs. Poirot says he spent forty minutes in the hotel. Holmes says the receptionist claimed he was there for two and a half hours. He also says the receptionists tiredness leads him to suspect foul play. I think Moriarty manipulated the receptionist by drugging her and changing the hotel clocks.

Yea, I think things are gonna get worse before they get better. Ah well. The issue is that the posters made it way too easy for Holmes to just go "Oh, that's not evidence. Sorry, mate. Going off to do my thing now." He probably would have done it regardless, but I sorta wanted to make it really hard for them to weasel out of it.

BINGO! I also suspected drugging, but I never noticed the time thing. WAIT, I HAVE IT! THE "REMODELING ARTIST" CHANGED THE CLOCKS! HAH!

I thought afterwards that disguising himself as Poirot and waiting for her to wake again was more likely. I don't think he'd get away with changing the clocks.
