If she went back to sleep after Poirot, it would have been easy.

WAIT!

At the hotel I discovered construction going on in the reception area – particularly around the grand centerpiece where multiple angels adorn an old-fashioned clock built into the south wall. Perhaps Saint-Jerome used the scaffolding to his advantage, and used it to hide himself in plain sight.

I WAS RIGHT!

Possibly but I think someone else would have noticed. Then again he appears to have got away with murder. But occams razor would indicate to me a disguise.

UPD: Right on what? Don't tell me there's weeping angels!

How about being masked?

You can just about see what looks like a womans head in that shard. A receptionist?

Too many people commented on Hef's blog at once and now he's even more suspicious. He's also rather hypocritical about trusting someone who only appeared a couple of weeks ago but I don't think bringing that up would go down well.

EDIT: He also kinda ninja'd me cos I was just gonna post that several people posting might not be a good idea. Oh well.

What do you mean right on what? Right about the artist resetting the clock, of course. Old fashioned, decorative clocks such as the one he describes are built into the wall, and so must be adjusted from outside via a ladder, or in this case scaffolding.

The clock might have been changed. Verhaeren drew the receptionist's attention to it by asking her what time it was. Given conservation of narrative detail, that indicates the clock is relevant to the story. Also, Moore may have plotted somehow to have the receptionist notice the clock so that she could be mislead as to how long Poirot was in the hotel.

New post:

"Oh God no; I have little time! My roommate James has informed that authorities are looking for me. I cannot stop; I must fly! Forgive my rudeness!"

This cannot be good.

Let's slow down the posting on Sherlock's blog. I've got something up already, and I think he should respond favorably. If he doesn't, well... To be honest, I will just be impressed that he maneuvered out of the verbal traps I just set.

If you look at the comments, I got two very useful comments through modding. The one with my clock theory and the one I just sent in reply to his reaction to all the posts. His reactions would have told me a lot, but he managed to Take A Third Option and go on the run from the fuzz.

The intentions were good but commenting only seemed to increase his suspicions. Anyway should we not be discussing who reported him? I don't think Poirot knew enough to report him.

Indeed. Moriarty is my main suspect. I just examined Poirot's blog, and there is no way he know enough to report him unless he was acting the whole time.

I just read Poirot's comments. I'm certain it wasn't him.

Btw leave Poirot's blog to Adell. We don't want to rouse his suspicions aswell.

I meant Moriarty using the mask. And could the woman in that shard be the same in this one?
EDIT: Where's Watson?

I got that it was Moriarty, I was trying to look for things to show it was showing the hotel.

EDIT: Watson's probably not here. Two characters from the same story is fine but three would be a bit contrived.

WAIT
Didn't Moore sent us the letter (presumably)? That means that if we try to warn Poirot and Hefner about each other, he will get what he wants. And he is EVIL
EDIT: DAMN YOU XANATOS GAMBIT

Fix'd. If it was a Thanatos Gambit, Moriarty would have to be dead. Unfortunately, he isn't. Also, I'm not too sure about him sending the letter. Just like with the artist before I realized he messed with the clock, I've got this nagging feeling in the back of my head...

EDIT: And what he pulled is actually a Batman Gambit, as it relied on us acting the right way. Xanatos Gambits are like what I did with Lime-man; they predict every possible outcome and plan for them all. Though actually my variant is more like Xanatos Speed Chess, as I've been running on my random caffeine fueled trains of thought since the beginning of this game, just grabbing whatever I can use to my advantage and running with it.

I disagree. I'm sure Moriarty sent the letter but I think it was to try turn us against Holmes.

... Well, whatever the case, Holmes is in trouble. I've asked the Cat about our detectives. If he deigns to answer, he may know something about it.
