Clearly, we should have just used the Madness Returns Alice, and then pretend we were using the original one.

"But she's older! And Crazy? I don't remember that from the books!"
"I guess you didn't read them closely enough."

@Dilly, the Cloudcuckoolander scenario is what I imagine to be her adaptation here. She would be curious, about the many things new to her mind and this place would just be a new wonderland. Not a well adjusted normal girl at all.

But Rick's point about having a child character stands very well. It would be extremely hard to make that work. I'll just leave it at that. :geek:

Now... Madness Returns Alice? Crazy, creepy and utterly awesome? Need I say anything? ;)

We coulda made Alice work*. What if she liked it here, wanted to stay, and Morgan took her under her wing?

*with more writers laboring for free

Pixel not found.
And that would mean I would be Pro-Cabal the whole time. Without a single moment of hesitation. :P

Maybeee. We already had several complaints about there being too much to follow, and a few difficulties in communication. As much as I would have loved to do EVERY CHARACTER EVER, it's probably a good thing we didn't.

There's would also have been the option of plucking her out of a point in her timeline when she's older, after both stories. I do feel like there's only so much mileage you can get out of characters known primarily for travelling to weird worlds. I'm not really sure what I'd do with Alice without making a ton of assumptions about her later life. And when you have to deviate really far from the canon to make a story interesting, it's probably not worth it, at least in my opinion.

One nice thing about Alice is she might have taken it in stride. If we had added like 5 more characters, it would have been convenient to not have to do the whole "WHAT IS THIS DEVILRY YOU CALL A CAR?" business every time.

...why do I keep planning this ARG all over again...

Because deep down, everyone wants to do this again?
