I also feel the game went very well, however, looking back, there are some very specific things I would have changed.
I wish we hadn't put the word "Grave" in the announcement, and that it didn't appear to be an ad for Echo Chamber. I think the "this is not a game" mentality lead to both those things, and they both created confusion that resulted in us losing many people who might have been interested.
I also wish we had more interactivity early on, for similar reasons. We invented some puzzles to lead to the characters, but I would have liked to have had even more.I think that if these things had been handled better, we would have had an even larger player base and might have been able to pull off some of the later things better, and there would have been generally less awkwardness around the echoes.
(I was intending to write an entire post about launch, but seeing how I'm leaving for Japan tomorrow and therefore am likely not going to be post morteming anymore, consider this the cliffnotes. I wish I was still postmorteming, this has been really enjoyable).
I also wish we had activities for those who might have wanted to support the Cabal from the moment the Cabal showed up, because as it turns out people are most interested in joining a side when it first appears.
