Come to the Tara case thread in Holmes to talk of evidence. Dealing with Don stays here.

I don't even see how Don could have the number, unless it was his. We don't know if he was at the apartment when she was murdered or if he arrived much later. But then again, how could he have known she was killed if he couldn't get inside due to the door being locked?

Correction: We need the number AND the service provider. One without the other is useless; calling the number is the LAST thing we want to do.

Already working on that. This should go to the Tara Case thread in Holmes.

We need to check the last number dialled remotely. The service provider has that information. We need to contact them, tell them the number, and ask for information on the most recent calls to or from that number.
Without the service provider, we've got no one to ask; without the number, they've got no way of giving us an answer.

More on this in the Tara Coulson Case thread (Holmes' forum).

I don't understand your reasoning. Why can't we have the number without the service provider?

Because then we've got no way of finding out information on it.
We don't want to call the number. We want to find out the last number dialled. Only the physical phone itself, and the service provider, have that information.
Therefore, we need to know the service provider, so we can ask them.

He can ask Tripky. Too bad if he hates the guy; this is more important. Tripky will have it.

 Could it be on the phone agenda? Or in "made/received calls"?

We're talking about a landline, I believe.
*69 or asking the landline are our only options.

If it helps find Tara's killers, I'm pretty sure he'll suck it up and go talk to the guy. He will want to help, too, I suspect - he would want to clear his name.

Quixote intends to show us her video tomorrow after his meeting with Sherlock. Brace yourselves for something big, I suspect.

What is written in the calendar?

Discussion of the video is happening in the Tara Coulson's case thread over in the Holmes section.

Short answer: too blurry for anyone to read so far, from what know. I can't find that particular bit of the discussion, possibly because it took place in a different thread than the ones I'm looking in.

(There are so many overlaps between sections that the different threads tend to get a bit tangled.)

EDIT: Found it! Twitter conversations thread. So far no answer as to what the writing says.

Yeah I wondered why people didn't notice.

Anyways it's a nice post that helpfully clears up some things and shows a good side to the story.
