Have you not seen when Mr. A made his twitter?
His account wasn't exclusively made for the ARG. It was more like Zack's - tweeting some random EC-related stuff now and then. All the older posts are deleted now, IIRC.
Still, if EC
is related, they've been playing one looooong game.

His last tweet seems to indicate that it wasn't in the trash. Maybe a mailbox, then?

How can you fit armor in a mailbox?

Yes, that's quite a big mailbox, isn't it? (I'm british our mailboxes are red, about 2.5 foot high, and on black posts. You'd never get it IN a mailbox. I take it they're bigger in Seattle?)

Could be one of those large blue boxes designed for packages. I'm just spitballing.

It's chainmail. Can't it
kind of bend?

Is there anything from his story about his armor? Or a place he liked hiding things?

One obvious thing: the armor is clearly important for the plot to roll.
Another metathing: If the armor was actually stolen by somebody, we probably wouldn't be able to find it. That means we should look for some places where it could disappear "naturally", and have a logical destination. The garbage bin was a good theory. I bet we need to look for something similar.
UPD: I thought for a second that he hid it in some car, but I believe he would notice that all of the car is gone. Thinking on...

One thing we didn't look at:
https://twitter.com/TheTrueQuixote/stat ... 5521150977If the woman is related and talking about it somewhere, it could open up another path...
Preliminary Google Search revealed nothing of interest, though...

Ahem, what exactly did you search for?
I don't see how it's relevant. She has basically dismissed him as a weirdo, paid back and left.

There is the man that taught him how to use the phone...

I return to find that my last second analysis of the riddle as I ran out the door was somehow correct, there is a new section of the forum devoted to Don bloody Quixote of all people, and I have to speed read over 100 posts and an entire (hilarious) Twitter account. OK, why the hell do I ever leave my computer anymore if this happens every time?

Nope. It was a guy.
Braddock Foreman.

Sorry, I usually don't hear "lad". I confused it with something else.

Preliminary obvious terms like "Don Quixote in Seattle", "Saved by Don Quixote"... I didn't have a solid lead or key word to use anyway. Already expected to find nothing.

Now, do we invoke
Conservation of Detail on Braddock Foreman?

Simple: Go get some sleep NOW that everything is settling down, then come back and never leave again until the next event!

Could we swing the twitter convos to the thread I just made so this one doesn't become almost 10 pages long like the one on Holmes?

Just to make it clear, we should try to do 2 things:
1: Check his Twitter regularly.
2: Ask him about his armour.
Oh wait! There's a third thing!
3: Try to help him find his armour. If he looks out of place, he could always pass himself off as a mascot of something or an actor.
I'm not sure whether you guys are going to think I'm useful, because some tropers are thinking I'm- not being very helpful, or useless.

To answer this topics question.
1. Find his armor
2. Team him up with Sherlock Holmes
3. Begin making a battle plan against Moriarty in the best set up for a t.v. show ever

Unfortunately, I find it unlikely that Don and the other two will team up. They have a very large body of water sometimes called the Atlantic Ocean in between them. Honestly, I don't think Don will go anywhere till he finds his armor, and if he does, do you really think he has a chance in hell of getting on a plane with that stuff?

Anything you have to contribute is welcome here. We all have different thought processes & different approaches that provide their own unique results. The hivemind works better that way. Keep up the good work everyone.
ETA: Haha I did find
this armor on craigslist. But it was posted Oct. 1st, Quixote lost his armor on Oct. 3rd.

While we're at it, I searched ebay for chain mails in US, added within the last 48 hours. These are the possible matches:
1 2. Others have a hood.
But I highly doubt this is the right path to search, because then we'd have to either buy the armor for Don Quixote with our own money, or teach him how to do it himself, and I'm not sure which one would be more cruel.
