It was too late at night for me - I just got pissed. Angry, for you British folks. Though I kinda wanted to get Brit-pissed.

Then Ed removed all the threads and the hilarious responses. :(

I think it was less Ed's work and more the guy Logic Bombing himself into oblivion.

Ok, I'm done with the offtopic.

We say pissed for angry too, we just say pissed off.

Hey, someone want to remind our knightly friend about his Sherlock book? I want to see how he reacts to those...

Yeah, otherwise we're talking about getting drunk.

Not sure it'll work. I tried to get him to read it last night, but he was too fixated on his own book appearing blank to him. It seems like that whenever he's fixated on one thing, it's impossible to get him to think about something else. And right now, he's fixated on finding out more about the person who formally owned his phone.

He just tweeted that he's going to go drink some ale. I swiftly suggested against it. I think the last thing we need right now is a drunk Don Quixote.

...I'm imagining Don Quixote having a comic book and battling against The Joker and other villains now.

Edit: I want to tell him about police officers, but my genre savviness is warning me against it.

Ok, I think my response to that, while a reasonable attempt to raise his spirits, was a little too long. As in, four tweets long.

I'm encouraging him to drink. This could be funny.

Might not be the best idea, but I fear at this point there's no way it can be stopped.

(Meta) Anything that happens will be purely humorous, telling him to drink won't affect the plot.

In my response, he seemed to be cheerful and encouraged to go back.

Yes, it will. Or so I guess.

Have you seen the main WTF page yet. Don Quixote's misadventures has already recieved media attention and the attention of the police. The last thing we need is more incidents.

The FIRST thing we need is more incidents. More publicity will get more people involved.

Meta wise, I doubt that's a real article, so the only people who are ever going to see it is us. Un-meta wise, it would be really great to keep him out of jail. So let's not encourage him anymore.

Meta wise I agree with you. Un meta wise, our efforts with the detectives shows our effect on the plot will be minimal.

Indeed. The article seems to be the same as the one from Kansas. At first inspection, the font seems to be different on the back of the cut out, so I don't think we need to worry about it for obvious meta reasons. As to how the hell we get him out of this one... ooooooohhhh boy... Gimme a sec and I'll come up with some kind of misdirection. In the meantime, get him out of that bar. I sense bad things about to happen if he doesn't get moving.

Repost of my post in other section. Get him out of that bar. Erm... lets see... what the hell is in Seattle that would distract him?

Someone think of something and roll with it!

I've been to Seattle when I was a kid. That was years ago. Off the top of my head, I can think of the Space Needle, but maybe we should keep him away from that. There was a science museum I loved to go to. Let's keep him away from that. There was a ferry that took us to and from Seattle. That may be fun for him.

Perfect! Get him on the ferry! Tell him that their are people whose job it is to keep the peace in cities, so if he wants a true adventure he should head for the ferry!

I just told him to go out and see the sights, but if I'm honest I'd rather he got drunk and be amused by the consequences.

EDIT: Gone past 400 posts!
