Well, he woke up, talked some more about his avatars, and went for a burger. Seems like a normal way to start a day. We are yet to see him rant about his armor...

UPD: He was talking about his "knighthood". He hasn't slain a bus yet, or anything.

OK looks like everything is fine. He was still on the same subject. He seemed to be implying that something else had happened. My bad.

Well, I told him he'd been had. He's not very inclined to believe it, though.

If you guys really want to keep him out of trouble for a while, just tell him to find the library and tell him about how many new stories of heroics there are. As long as he is clear on the rules of the library (e.g. no noise) he should be able to stay in there for a long time.

My meta-sense is telling me that's not going to hold him for long, but it never gurts to try.

I thought it would have been dangerous to see yourself in fiction, a la like Back to The Future, or disturbing a la like My Little Dashie, but then I remembered Holmes.
I'm still I little worried though. This is DON QUIXOTE. Wouldn't people recognize him?

Well, I'll be damned. It actually seemed to work.

I've worked for a
very long time to cultivate my ability to manipulate people. It helps, though, that we both love books. Though I concede that from a meta point of view I know this won't last long. However, it will hopefully stop trouble for a little while, and will also probably be hilarious.

Hmm... I don't think so.

HE CAN'T BE MR ADMINISTRATOR BECAUSE HE DOESN'T TALK LIKE THIS.
GULP.

...I'm not sure if that is better or worse that being voted a puppetmaster in disguise. What the heck would that imply for all the times I troll Mr. A? I'm trolling myself?

It's all a part of the play!
Ok, seriously now, I was joking.

Sooooooooo, lets just move on. Anyone been able to think of anything for the armor issue? Of course, he always could have just gotten lost and thought he went back to the place where he left it, but (META:) I don't think things are gonna be that simple.
Anyone considered the possibility that the video contains a hint on where he left it? I'm gonna go re-watch it again and see if I see a good hiding spot.

I hope the Don reads thw write books. Holmes was not happy with some interpretations of himself.

Hmm... the video appears to be a dead end unless, as someone mentioned before, he hid it in a car, or the even weirder option of hiding it in an elevator.
Hmm... looking at his old tweets from the time the armor was stolen, he seems to have left it "somewhere where [he] can get to it when [he] needs it." I'm thinking that's about all we have to work on. It must be close by, since he realized it was gone first thing next morning. Let me think on this for a bit...

My question is if there is something on the other side chasing fictionals into this world, why didn't Don Stay and fight it? Wouldn't that be a great chance to prove his valor or something?

Based on what he and other characters have said, it seems like none of them came here of their own free will or even knowing how it happened. Many of them mentioned coming from another land, yet none has mentioned running from anything. It's as if they were just pulled through by a mysterious force.

Don Quixote doesn't know how he came to our world.

Confirmed, Quixote replied and has no idea what I meant when I asked him directly.
This implies that whatever is pushing people between worlds is unknown to both sides.
With that said I think we need to start looking for connecting threads in the literature/movies/media that connect all of the characters so far.
(Meta: TV tropes...so what tropes connect them all?)
