Quixote's been shot. He removed the bullet. The paramedics have arrived. We've been assured that he'll survive. Thank goodness.

Darn, we did it all in the chatroom again.
Even though I've recapped on the Timeline, an update for those who weren't chatting at the time:
Quixote met Tripky; Tripky told him that Deanna a) helped plan the murder b) wanted to use Tara's death to catch Quixote and Holmes c) kept going on about her "teacher" (i.e., fictionalthreat). Then Deanna appeared on the scene and shot both of them, killing Tripky and wounding Quixote, who removed his bullet with his bare hands and continued to tweet until the paramedics drugged him to sleep.

Now he's receiving morphine at the hospital. Removing the bullet made the surgery riskier, but it was still successful and now he's recovering. Though will have a higher risk of heart attack from now on. This will be problematic, given Quixote's lifestyle.

Looks like he might be heading down the road to addiction, given the way he tweets about morphine. It's not only acting as a pain killer, but making him happy, and at the moment he has a lot of emotional distress that he'd rather not be feeling. When the doctors start trying to ease him off of it I expect we'll have problems.

That's quite the Fridge Horror. I don't think he'll be able go get morphine afterwards, though, so I hope it will be ok. I'm more concerned about his heart.

Why'd she kill TRIPSKY anyway? He isn't even a fictional, I thought it was THEM she had the issues with!

Here's hoping because he's making a break for the exits, and I don't think we're going to be able to convince him not to go :shock:

Which means all we can really do is be there and support him and cross our fingers. hey, we've seen stranger things in our time on this forum. We watched a little Robot girl kick medusa's ass for gods sakes. Guess this time, we've just got to trust the crazy guy because we sure as hell can't stop him.

Let's just... keep hoping.Like I said in chat, he may be crazy, he may see things that aren't there, but at the same time, I think he's one of the best examples of humanity we've ever had the fortune to meet... As well as being one of the msot completely batshit, hell maybe those two things aren't exclusive. :roll:

However this turns out, I reckon we were lucky to ever have gotten the chance to know him.

Given what's going on, I wish Holmes would respond to the e-mail I sent him already, or at the very least update us on his blog. Maybe he can give us some kind of insight on this character that we missed before. At the very least, let us know that he's okay. Holmes is a target too.

But this is a very curious turn of events. What could this man possibly want to speak to Quixote about? I can't think of a thing. Any WMGs?
