Quick question guys. I know the Witch's curses didn't work on us over the internet, but all of the sudden everyone seems to be absolutely convinced that the Witch can't cast ANY spells. What the heck is with that? She is obviously magic, since she survived the fall from her entrance point, so why couldn't she cast spells? Has anyone ever said she couldn't? Has SHE said she couldn't?

Maybe magic that was already there still works. As she was a magical being she could survive the fall as it was an innate ability. However she can't cast new spells, which is why she can't curse people.

And the only reference to magic I can find is her trying to curse us.

That's something I thought too. It's a perfectly reasonable possibility. However, I just don't think it's a good idea to just assume that she cannot use magic. I mean sure, for meta reasons she cannot use it on US, but that doesn't mean she cannot use it at all. Don't underestimate your opponent, guys.

As if she would reliably tell us. I mean, sure, ask away. Just don't think it confirms something 100%.

I asked on the latest post but she hasn't responded to any of the others on there.

I'm going to send an email, I should probably have warned her about this.

You might want to point out to her that a section of the evil people in this world will also probably try to kill her. (I hadn't thought about that until just now.)

God, I MISS those giant supersoakers... you remember those ones that cost an absolute fortune, so only one kid in the street ever had one? And they advertised them like crazy awesome things? Our neighbours kid had that really huge one which spat water at intervals... Impressive fun for a kid, but deadly for the witch.

It kinda looks like the witch is having a bit of a crisis of faith here. I'm almost feeling sorry for her. Perhaps we could use this to get her into the mindset of wanting to go home?
