I think cursing us on the spot is pretty stupid, and thus is not something the Witch would do. Why not try to do something her henchmen say is good for her?

Well, we have a willing participant for experiments, so why don't we see if she'll help us figure out the blank-book conundrum? Presumably she can't read the Oz books (but we should have her check just to be sure) but we can ask her to watch the movie, read adaptations and related works like Wicked, and see how close she can get to her own story before it's not readable anymore.

Well, she tried it, and itseems if nothing else out theory is confirmed - she couldn't read it. The characters are physically uanble to percieve their own texts.

God only knows what it'd look like if she tried to watch the movie.

If she can't see The Wizard of Oz, I'm thinking of asking her to try The Wiz, or that muppet Oz movie they made a while back.

What if she goes to a play? Like Wicked? Will she just black out and have seizures?

YES! She should try and see it. Her reaction will be....angry, most likely, but it'll be hilarious. For us.
