I think we're missing something. She asked for information on inter-world travel, but based on this post, book recommendation was clearly not the way to go. What were we supposed to suggest to her instead? Getting a smartphone and downloading layar?

Maybe she has to do it from her own book's canon?

I'm worried that if the Witch tries something and it actually works, we might end up in an even worse situation. What if she winds up in different book and starts messing up the story there? I think we should all be cautious until we have more information.

Not that she'd listen anyway, though. She's just gonna hurt herself walking into mirrors and possibly the border between Platforms 9 and 10. (Oh wait, she'd have to go to London first, so we're probably safe from that one.)

Okay guys amusing as all this is I think I need to email her and stop her before she tries to jump through any mirrors. The last thing we need in the Wicked Witch in casualty . Medical services cost a BOMB over there...

That's not quite what I expected from her.
I thought she'd study the sources, find some common themes, examine the fabric of reality and use the magic to go back, but what she's doing is wrong on so many levels....
Are there any books with particularly hilarious means of transportation?

I know I'm a sick bastard, but I'll try to suggest a red pill.

In "The Magicians," it's a magic button that sends them to the place in between Earth and Fillory. And it's Magic Rings in "The Magician's Nephew." If she finds a magical artifact, she might be able to do some multiversal travel.

Also, she needs to find an old-school police box. Sometimes they have aliens in them that like to help.

I take it as a sign that she's getting desperate. This could be very dangerous if we don't do something. If she wasn't already reading the forums, I would go assure her that we are working on means of returning them...Somewhere. Should we mention that we found her echo to her? Maybe ask her if she knows what the deal with that cloud is?

I'm working under the assumption that she knows everything we've been discussing, but I don't think it would hurt. It would be great to get her own personal opinion on the comic representation of her life, at least get an idea as to how true to life it is.

I know it sounds like a Crack Pairing, but think about it-- Peter Pan and the Witch are the two characters most desperate to get home.
More than that, Her Wickedness wants to do research into inter-world travel, while Peter keeps going on about Tinkerbell's "soft places".

Scarab-- as the Witch's campaign manager, can you maybe suggest she get in touch with him? I've got someone to give Peter similar advice.

The witch has not responded in a while. She's either in Wonderland or in the ER. Either way, we should be concerned.
