Ding dong!
The witch is back!Looks like she's gotten into mad science. We should do something about her before she blows up our world.

When did she get a dinosaur?

...Okay.
Okay in fairness I didn't think to warn her for that.
This is ALL Dryu's fault

Oh,
sure. Anything scary happens, we blame either Sicon or Dryu. Or someone else who wasn't consulting the Hive before acting, but that's a whole other thing.

Am I the only one here that's positively impressed? This was amazing!

Oh boy. Well, that might explain the echoes. Maybe they're just wormholes caused by the witch and entirely unhelpful red herrings!

Simple Litmus test on that:
How long ago did the Echo plan start? More than 4 days.
How long ago did the witch start experimentatioon? 4 days.
Therefore, the theory does not fit the timeline.

Wormholes can travel throught time and space..

Ohkaaay if this logic actually works... is that possible? Could the echoes be connected to the wormholes?
Hell maybe this is a stable time loop, maybe the witch messing around is what caused all of this in the first place.
Jesus, I need a drink.

In a somewhat related note, the witch replied to my comment asking her about her comic page. Here's what she said:
Wicked Witch wrote:I remember that cloud. I hated it.
That seems to confirm the theory that the cloud actually did exist and wasn't just an artistic expression. In addition to the things the witch managed to do with science, I think it's fair to say that our reality is disintegrating rather quickly.

You know, I never thought of that. Maybe it's not so much that she's naturally skilled with quantum physics as that reality is breaking down to a point where you can DO those things WITHOUT knowing about them and people will believe it? Like how the characters in some crime drama probably don't really know how to take fingerprints or analyse a bullet projection, but the script says they do, and so... they do. Except now nobody'sworking to a script.
We hope. Oof course it's possible this is all just really obvious stuff and I'm just dumb about quantum physics. Whatever, this is going to be relevant SOMEHOW I just know it.
I DID suggest the witch might want to try a career in science anyway. Heck, at this point I think she'd make a better mad scientist than a president.

Did somebody show the witch pan's video yet? Would it be okay if I did?

I'd say it's a good idea - go ahead with it.

Given the difficulty scientists have had in trying to create wormholes, I'm fairly confident the Witch's success is related to reality become more like fiction.
This is great, actually. Soon we'll be able to have all the Death Rays and Warp Drives we want!

Although, it will be at the price of reality itself disintegrating.

Urgh... No sane human being should
ever have to choose between owning hoverboards and the continued existence of reality.

I had a Nerdgasm.
God she's awesome. Moriarty my ass! Wicked Witch is the best!!
Also, do you realize that she has just given us a Techno Babble explanation for the Metaverse structure?

Yes, I did. But I don't think I can explain it.

I just had a potentially useful thought: The witch has apparently made wormholes, right? Something which we agree is probably possible because of fiction bleeding into reality. Peter has also mentioned the apparent existence of "soft places" in the world, which he thinks might be able to get him back to Neverland. Now, obviously in the normal world, those places don't exist, but in this world with fiction saturating it, they might just exist, because of the stories containing them imposing themselves on this world.
I think it's entirely possible that the Witch's wormholes might be related to these "soft places" somehow. If they are similar, then her machinery could be used to locate, or even make one, or at the very least give insight into the nature of these "soft places". Which is an entirely good reason to get them to work together, to whatever degree.

Why did you make the same post in two different threads?-

So that we could discuss it from both sides without breaking the topic, and discussing the Witch's exploits in Peter's forum, and Peter's "soft places" in the Witch's forum more than necessary. I was trying to help prevent muddling and off-topic-ness, but yah, I get that it's a weird and not-kosher thing to do. I just did it in the case because it seemed like the best thing to do.

I got the techno-babble just fine, so when I get a chance, I'll post an explanation. Of course, you may need Dryu to translate from MY techno-babble, but I'll do my best.

To be fair, the only reason I got into it was because of reading an article in a Dragon (one of the D&D magazines by WoTC) that talked about using a tesseract as a dungeon, and went into detail on the necessary knowledge of what a tesseract was, where everything is in relation to everything else, and how to map the variants in 3-dimensional space. I've still got the little paper sheets I made to map out a full one.
