Theory: Her magic doesn't work because this world isn't magical. In Oz she can tap into the magic but not here. However the slippers are a magical artifact and therefore contain their own magic, meaning they would work here. I typed this while cutting out my tin foil hat.

It's a good theory. However there is the possibility that her own magic doesn't sync up with a new environment. This world could also have it's own magic that can only be tapped in by it's residents.

Also possible. Another thing could be if cracks widen and Oz magic starts leaking through. Then we're screwed.

Not entirely if we are going by the book series rules then if Oz's Magic could be leaking, other inhabitants of Oz would come through. Dorothy and the others could keep her at bay.

I think it is, because so we would know if they fought, for example. Or what exactly happened. Did she pass throught them? Was there something else? And some other questions that I forgot.

Makes sense, but It's not hard to rationalise why fictionals can still go through (Superman's flaw, for instance)... The specifics could help us understand what's happening a little better, but it does not seem to be vital information.

I, sadly, agree. It seems my curiosity won't be satisfied until we discover how thay are coming to us in the end

I'm not sure that's what we should be concerned with right now. For the moment, I feel like our primary concern should be damage control, and THEN figuring out how they got here/how to get them back.
