He mentioned local entertainment, making me think he's spotted some hula dancers. I'm glad he's finally having some fun.

And it looks like it leads to an echo.

I mean, did she bump into an actual person dressed up as Gulliver, decide it had to do with the game, and approach him? IRL, the characters don't-- can't-- have a physical presence.
So either she's definitely not just a player, or it wasn't her who insulted him at the restaurant. Because whoever it was has to be at least as fictional as Joan Lawson and Tara Coulson in order to be able to interact with the characters face-to-face.

That's not what I mean. It can't be someone reading the ARG, because a real person wouldn't have seen Gulliver, on account of the fact that, IRL, he's not really there; there's no one to see. It's highly unlikely that the GMs have people dressed up as the characters wandering around where they're supposed to be.
Gulliver said someone approached him in person to criticize his blog. Therefore, that someone is either "in on it" with the GMs (i.e., didn't really approach him but is willing to play along that she did if we ask), or fictional, on a level with Lawson and Tara.
I think we need to find out more about this young lady. (I left a comment on his blog asking for more information on the encounter, but if someone wants to chime in with that, it probably can't hurt.)
