You guys do realize, that if this all turns out to be real, that she was real, and Gulliver and Silver were real, and everything we thought was an ARG this whole time was real, then we are all kinds of screwed up.

Also, about the email, default configurations state that the board will send a email to warn you of PMs if you're not Online at the time.
