I just see a possible backlash because of what qara did. Long John Silver is a manipulative bastard, and he doesn't like being played.

Are you sure? He sounded pretty geniune, and I don't think he'd reject the chance to get tons of treasure he was promised.
You may argue that he's angry because he has lost his bargaining chip and has to rely on our promise alone, but if that's the case, you should remember that he thought we'd refic him with Gulliver at the same time, but still complied. I think that means he trusted us to go through with the deal.
I'm not sure if I made myself clear. :?

I kind of want him to turn out to have been an asshole all along, so that we wouldn't have to look for the loopholes for the crossover. >_<
