I gotta say, Juliet knows how to hit'em.

Right that does it, somebody tell me whether this sounds a bit too psychopathic.
Rosaline.

Remember her? I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, hell, you forgot about her prettydamn quickly when Juliet turned up on the scene. You were all head over heels for HER weren't you? Then you saw Juliet and suddenly it was all “Who’s Rosaline?” And now you've completely forgotten about Juliet in roughly the same amount of time! What a SURPRISE! (That was sarcasm by the way). How will Vanessa feel when you lose interest in her?

Believe it or not everyone here is trying to HELP. Yeah maybe we had our own agenda, but we do give a damn about what happens to you two... because we KNOW what happens. It didn’t even matter if you were together, not really. Just so long as you had a chance to be happy at least for a LITTLE while, while you were here.

But as you now surely know... we had other agendas. Agendas more important than which girl you’re shacking up with this week. You don’t want to be with Juliet? Fine, but you should’ve sucked told her not chickened out by blocking her and writing poems to OTHER people. You know 'true love at first sight' doesn’t usually work here. But deep down I think at least some of us kind of hoped that you could work. Even though we knew it wasn’t that rational.

I hoped I was wrong about assuming you were just a romantic who cared more about the IDEA of being in love with a pretty girl than you did about the ACTUAL girl. But I guess I was right iall along. As soon as it becomes difficult, as soon as it becomes harder than quoting bloody sonnets, you drop a girl like a tin of hot coals.

But if I could just stop ranting for a moment... Look everything everyone else here is telling you? It’s true. We're trying to work on a solution that would be better for everyone. We don’t know if it’ll work, but we’re trying. And you SERIOUSLY need to think about what you actually want, and stop hopping from girl to girl like they're prizes at a carnival fair. This is about SO MUCH MIORE than just you, Romeo.

Hang on. If we mention Rosaline, we imply that we know about his past. Are we allowed to do that? :o But otherwise, I like your post. Very much. Biting and to the point about how he's a jerkface.

I am TOTALLY cool with bringing up just how much we know at this point, perhaps he'll actually start LISTENING to us then.

I peppered him with Shakespearean insults, many from his own play. We'll see if he recognizes them.

I refrained from commenting 'cos it would just have been lots of modern day insults which would have probably got me banned from the blog.

Probably, yea. I had to refrain from posting anything for a while till I thought of something that WASN'T a storm of insults.

I think my comment was appropriate. Oh, and yeah, mentioning his past that we somehow know about is not the best idea. And that's coming from me, so seriously.

Both of them updated their blogs. I really don't know what to say to Juliet, she really hates him o_O The upside of that is that she's focused on getting back home to Verona. Romeo on the other hand is whining about how nobody's caring about his feelings. Ugh. And he says that he "can't go back anymore". So, well, shit. I wish there was some way of finding out who this Vanessa was.

EDIT: We probably shouldn't have mentioned knowing about his past... But ah, screw him.

Is it weird I've suddenly become sympathetic towards Romeo? I mean, he's aware that what he's done is wrong, and he does seem sincerely interested in doing better with Vanessa. I do wish he'd at least try to make things better with Juliet, at least try to remain friends.

When we first started interacting with these characters, I've been under the assumption that Status Quo Is God, which is why I've been insistent that we keep Romeo and Juliet together, so that when they return to their story, they can just return to where they left off. But now, I'm beginning to rethink things. Perhaps we're meant to change things, make their stories better, help these characters better themselves or become more well rounded. Maybe Romeo and Vanessa are the perfect couple, and Juliet was meant to move on and meet someone new. I don't know, just a thought.

Well my own sympathy for him has droppd a lot but in fairness to him it's entirely likely he just doens't realise how wishy washy his behaviour is, or hasn't noticed the fact that his infatuations with women tend to ebb and flow like a tide on Jupiter and if he genuinely thinks he cares about Vanessa well then that's his perogative. Guy's just... a dumb teenager BEHAVING like a dumb teenager.

We have to be careful, though. We've all seen this desperate!Romeo before in our year ten english classes. This is the kind of mindset which leads to doing really, really stupid things... Like getting yourself and your girlfriend killed (I'm not saying he's gonna do that NOW, but he's certaainly a little on edge right now. He'll probably freak Vanessa out as much as anything).

Hopefully some of our posts will calm him down. Also I linked him to calming manatee on tumblr... He likes captions, right?

My sympathy still lies with Juliet. Nowhere does Romeo take responsibility for his actions, instead blaming us and Juliet for harassing him instead of owning up to his mistakes. If you notice, it was the name "Rosaline" that set him off this time, because he was hurt by HER. Which means that his reaction here is still selfish! He doesn't care about Juliet, he doesn't really care about Vanessa (They met a week ago), he cares about himself.

It makes absolutely no difference HOW good a couple Vanessa and Romeo are, and in the end it may not make a difference if Romeo and Juliet are a good or bad couple. He needs to go back across the wall, not necessarily to his own story, but at least to somewhere, and that means that he and Vanessa WILL be split up, regardless of how much they care or do not care. I stated this on his blog already, but one man's happiness is not worth the continued survival of all of reality. If it comes down to it in the very end, I will obliterate all hope from his life before I allow his actions to destroy everything.

Uh... did I come across as mad? I'm not. I'm thinking about this in a perfectly logical pragmatic manner right now. In any case, I note that you guys are offering to "let his friends come with him". I suggest you don't lie. I'm pretty damn sure that that is completely impossible. The best we could do is create a copy of them on the other side, and honestly I wouldn't even do that, because while it might solve things for Romeo, what about the real people?

We have no idea what we can and cannot do yet. Nothing seems to indicate that we can't send real people beyond the wall. And if we can't, then copies will do. I don't see how creating fictional versions of real people will affect the real people at all. Somebody can fictionalize your life without you even knowing.

In either case, we're not lying. We're only telling him that we have theories. That we might have options. That returning to Verona is no longer the only solution we have to our problem. I'm hoping to try to get Romeo to be more cooperative.
