Well, I'll be drafting a quick and dirty response. I'm stablished in her blog anyway so I could post without raising suspicion.

Quick draft to stablish presence:
Dear Juliet. I'm afraid that the book is indeed related to you and Romeo. To our world, your Verona is considered a "fictional work". A world we interact with through that book that appears blank to your eyes. Other outsiders like yourself have encountered that same discovery and my friends and I are working with you and these "fictional characters" for some time now.
Rest easy, the due explanations are on their way even as I type this quick message. There is no reason for you to be scared of you discovery.

I think just clarify your language a little to explain that everyone like her has found "their" books to be blank, and this is nothing to be alarmed about.
But I think that's good, Pixel...

Sicon's speech is up. Good thing I didn't get ninja'd by trying to write the speech myself.

Just a heads up, I'm going to link her to the R&J wiki in a little bit.

Out of curiosity, why? Just in case she wants to look? Makes sense.

Yeah, to assist with her research. And I'm curious to see how she'll react if she does read the wiki.

Yeah. Me too, a bit. I might have linked it myself, but I wasn't really in contact with anyone else, so I figured I'd just leave it out so no one complained.

I figure it can't do any harm, at any rate.
Even if Juliet were the type to freak out, she'll realize that she and Romeo have both changed so much by now that it's not POSSIBLE for their ending to happen the way it did anymore.

So Romeo got a job.

He's also moving in with Vanessa-- looks like they're serious.

Also, he's working in a bookstore. So... this should be interesting.

...ninja'd by Dryu. But he's got a link!

If you can't beat him, join him!

That's ridiculous, Sicon. You know Dryu's always been at war with Eurasia.

Fun fact: the mods' edits don't increase the edit quantity. So if I edit something, no one but the other mods will ever know. Sleep tight. :geek:
Back on track. Are we going to do something about the situation? It's getting pretty serious. I still think that they may actually reunite with Juliet at the end (senses... tingling), but for now, the situation is pretty crappy for us. We may have to fictionalize him by force if it stays this way. :(

I think ultimately, it's a big mistake to assume, at any given moment, that everything is going to stay the way it currently is. I vote we do nothing but observe. If the moment comes for us to get involved, we will know. But there is no real need for us to get involved at the moment, so I say we don't.
If everyone would just agree with me, there would never be any problems.

From everything Mr A's said, plus the fact that being together KILLED them in the original, I really don't think R and J have to be more than just friends in the refic. The only potential problem is Romeo's specific emotional tie to Vanessa; for that, we'll just have to rely on Romeo being... Romeo (as I've discussed earlier in this thread).

ALSO: Dryu, the original POSTER will know when you change it.
EVERYONE: If Dryu edits your post, IMMEDIATELY EDIT IT NOTING THAT HE DID. Even if he edits that out, it will then show that the post's been edited. (Or just edit your posts several times to make it look like he did. ;) )
...just kidding, Dryu, I'm on YOUR side now.

Sorry.
So, I'm pretty sure Romeo is going to run into his book pretty soon, so do we just tell him to talk to Juliet, or do we give him a Wikipedia link, too?

We already gave the link to Juliet and Romeo jumped in telling her to not read because it was a joke in bad taste. So I guess we can assume that at least he did read it.
