Don't be stupid. Edward de Vere wrote a few middling poems occasionally. HE WAS NOT SHAKESPEARE. There is the slight problem that the vast majority of Shakespeare's plays were written after De Vere's death. They were also very strongly based (indeed, often plagiarised) from events after De Vere's death. Furthermore, De Vere would have been incredibly busy in dealing with his duties as one of the Queen's most senior officials. Shakespeare is identified on the title page of plays performed before the King himself. He was also furious, dissolute, bankrupt, violent, and universally abhorred - very different to Shakespeare's voice.

The fact you are so offended amuses me. I love how you Shakespearians love to get your pants in a knot everytime someone questions his authenticity as an author. I am not going to debate the issue with you over this topic and mind you, there will never be a congruent answer on who actually wrote it. However, I believe Vere wrote it so I will credit him as such. You can do the opposite IDC however I must ask that you calm the hell down.

Also, I made a post yesterday to Romeo about how I was wrong. It was short but it was all I could write at the time.

Also Dryu, thanks for being an extreme jerk the entire time I have been here. I have said millions and millions of times that I am not a troll nor was I trying to piss people off for my own amusement. I specifically pointed out after the first chat that it was non-canon and people still got pissed off. I have done nothing to warrant actual trolling or flaming for that matter.

You make it seem as if the opinions that I made were stupid on Romeos post. let me be clear about something for the last time. I never saw Echo Chamber and I had never had any previous affiliation with TVTropes or their forum. I simply found the link to the ARG on Unfiction and clicked it. I had no previous experience with your universe and as such I had to come up with my own opinions considering none of you people made any sense to me. Luckily Sicon was the one who was able to explain everything to me in layman's terms so I could actually understand what's going on in the metaverse itself. Other than that I have been completely on my own.

You may play in your chatroom all you want, but the second you take it to the characters' blogs, you can't use "it's not canonical" as an excuse, because it is. When you start thinking about the consequences (and trying to use them to our mutual advantage, not hijacking for teh lulz), I'll stop being a jerk.
Also, "I didn't watch EC" is not an excuse. I'd say 80% of the metaguards didn't, and 15% more only watched 2 or 3 episodes with Mr. A. We have the ARG's premise, that I suspect you to be familiar with, and that's enough to be actually productive.
I can rant all day.

Jester, you just won my everything for getting Romeo to admit that he loves Juliet, just as we'd suspected.

And THAT helped me figure out exactly how I needed to play him. He wasn't trusting you guys, and that was going to be a major hold-up. And, well, I'd been putting so much effort into flirting with him, it would be a shame if that didn't turn out to be useful.
So I figure Romeo needs an emotional argument. He is, after all, a guy ruled mainly by his emotions. So using my smitten-with-Romeo persona, I suggested that I'm going to be honest with him because a) I love him and therefore can't lie to him, and b) since it's in my interest to keep him here, so I can have him to myself, I'm obviously telling the truth if I'm saying it might be in his interest to go.

So long as he doesn't read this post, I should be safe...
