You know how I feel about this concept.

It's what an ARG is, there's no getting around it.

I mean, play it how you want to play it. Just please don't be a wet blanket when other players want to try something bold...

I'm neutral towards this idea. I'd say do it, if only for the funnies.

All right. If Mr. A approves, I'll throw in my lot with you (why oh why do I trust him?),

All hail to Mr. A's wisdom!
(of course that's a lie, I'm in the plan for the lulz).

Well if the plan doesn't work it should at least fail spectacularly

Yes. Especially if he acts on it.

Forget it, guys, it's never going to work.
Even if we could get him in touch with them, it would never be to our benefit. He'd go and blow up half our fictionals, and we'd have no way to get them back, or he'd just seriously join them and NOT be an idiot anymore. Anyone notice how responsible he's gotten since he got out of the hospital?
He's no good as a pawn anymore, which means we just need to keep him out of their hands.
At least as a free agent we have the chance of manipulating him to want to go back after all. Once he joins them-- not so much.

Well, he's interested now after all your posts, how are you gonna convince him otherwise? We'll just look like we're flip flopping (and make the manipulations more obvious) if we go back now.

Guys we just need to sit back and let the Cabal contact him. Mr. A said so.

I can't believe this actually worked.
So now we wait for the Cabal to come to him. Sounds like fun.

JR let me tell you a little something. I made a forum about a Coffee Room once. And now it is full of demons and monsters and things I don't even know how to describe. There is nothing I can't do.

Let me tell you a little story about an RPG I've been trying to get off the ground for ages. Which I thought could finally start here. Yet sadly people never signed up and instead told me how good the idea was or questioned the details and logic of it which I had to answer. So yet again my idea fails miserably (hell people on the other forums where I posted this RPG actually posted. NO ONE here did.) Maybe we could wait by having people take part in this too.
God I derailed this thread into a massive rant. I should just stop now.
(Getting back on topic of your reply. Yes I've been there plenty of times, hell I posted 10 minutes ago on it.)

...No, this is the OPPOSITE of worked. This is the result of bad ideas, mixed messages, and REGRET.
We all pitch in, try to get him to contact him. Then we realize what a TERRIBLE idea that would be, only to discover that it's too late to stop him and anything we say will probably make things worse.
And chances are we can't stop the Cabal from reaching out to him. Fun.

...Oh dear. I think we officially did not think this through.
Mister A is gonna be pissed.
