Refictionalization: Romeo and Juliet

So since we have both their echoes now, it's safe to assume that we can refic R&J, though there's been no word from A yet as to the deadline, etc.
I'll update this post for that, and when he confirms the tropes, which I believe to be Hurricane of Excuses and Verbal Tic.
We should probably get to work on that Last-Second Hookup, meanwhile, or some other way of convincing Romeo to go quietly.
EDIT: The refic should be submitted by December 7 at midnight ET (i.e., end of Dec 7).
EDIT: The tropes are confirmed to be Hurricane of Excuses and Bros Before Hoes.

I still call Bros Before Hoes. I mean, c'mon. It's even referenced by name.

https://twitter.com/YouHaveFailedUs/sta ... 5331710984We now officially have the order to refic. Super. No deadline yet, but I say we get cracking. I'm already on to write the refic, and intend to start once my current essay is out of the way by Tuesday.
EDIT:
https://twitter.com/YouHaveFailedUs/sta ... 0099409921Deadline is December 6. So Wednesday.
... FUCKING HELL.

So we have the echoes, we have the tropes, and we have the deadline. Now, how do we manage the characters? We've been fine with being open and honest with them, right? Should we tell them about this?

Definitely tell them we're ready to send them home, but they have to go together.

I think it's only right that we do so.

Well, I've written mine. I'll hold off on sending it in for a little while, though, in case we hear anything new from Juliet.

I just had an idea to write my refic in the form of a rap. I've never done this before, I don't even listen to much rap. So wish me luck.

Go for it! I'm thinking of singing for one of mine

We can be musical metaguards together!

I think if a musical refic is chosen, the Metaguard in question should get a new title. Say... Meta-Bard.

...just a little more, and we'll have enough Meta-classes for a Meta-RPG.

And so the curtain has fallen. I feel weary of this.
Romeo and Juliet was one of my passions, it shaped my life, and my decisions. To honestly see it end like this is extremely saddening for a sensitive pedestrian such as I.
The river of sadness that flows from my face cannot contain how happy I am with the way that turned out. Congratulations Blur. Your words stroke the harps chords which the angels declared a hymn. Very well done indeed.

I guess this is good bye, though you're still welcome to stay if you're ever so inclined. So long and have a wonderful life. And pray we can repair the wall so it can be a long one.

Lovely work, Blur

I guess that's it for R & J... wow. For some reason this makes me sadder than the others that already left.
