If it's their conversations you're referring to, then they posted them here: http://pheeble.twwf.info/get_arch_code.html

Use the codes intro1 through to intro6 to access their conversations.

I think Oberon's in Britain. He referred to writing letters as the best way to complain.

Steinitz is in contact with someone else. He typed "NO" into the chat by accident. That seems like an angry thing to type. He may have been answering someone who wished to send him back. Looks like there could be another group we don't know about.

Also, Oberon said he found the cabal through the letters. Could there be a clue in them?

Good call.
Somehow I think a fourth party would be too complicated... Maybe he was just talking to someone he was manipulating.

I think they have only alerted him to their presence, and he found them by himself. Still, maybe we should ask Joe to scan all the letters... That would be one hell of a data mining. :?

It's possible he was just talking to someone who suggested the fictites are sent back. It at least shows the group are in contact with somone else.

Here's hoping, you and I might actually be able to provide some on-site work in that case... although I am somewhat intimidated by the idea of coming face to face with this guy.

Well whoever this guy is he must have really serious reasons for not wanting to go back. I suspect he's afraid of what waitsf for him on the other side. If we find out who he is, then we have his motivations.

We also know this group contains at least one female, judging from Joan's messages.

Should we bother trying to work out who they are? We could look at their personalities on the chat archives and listen to the messages on the psychs phone to get their accents, so we could at least narrow it down.

Well, I think it is safe to assume it were them who threatened the therapist. The voice analysis is in a separate thread. As I said, I can't help with the accents, sorry.

Yes, I think that's a good plan. We have the voices on the phone (at least one is female), we have their names and we have the possible origins of those names. We have SOMETHING to go on, at least.

Unrelated note: meanwhile I'm going to see about putting together a map, indicating exactly where all the characters arrived in our world. This is REALLY tugging at straws for me, but I want to try it anyway...

One more stray thought.
Oberon said that he is a specialist in obtaining guarded information. If they didn't resort to outside help, it was probably him who cracked the site. This violates the theory that he is Moriarty, though - there's no way even a smart guy could learn hacking from the ground up, unless he spent all his time doing it (which he probably didn't).

True... I guess it COULD be a different version of Moriarty, probably from some modern incarnation, but that seems unlikel given our current patterns.

Personalities may be a bit easier. Steintiz and Pyramus were very quick to get into an argument, caused by Steintiz calling Pyramus lazy and acting like he was superior. This would fit with the pissibility that Steintiz is Moriarty and that Pyramus is Romeo, as he was very quick to 'defend his honour' as Romeo would do. Angelus seemed much calmer and defused the argument quickly.

EDIT: The what we know theorizes Steintiz, not Oberon, is Moriarty.

And to think, all this was happening just after I went to bed. I was here to see the site go blank, and then logged off thinking it was nothing more than a glitch. Logged on this morning, and now we have a whole new group of villains and a ton of new leads. This is so aggravating.

No more things getting done til I'm caught up, kay?

Is it possible that any of them could be characters from Shakespeare plays? I would theorise that maybe Pyramus is some other character from the Romeo and Juliet play, possible somebody who died or otherwise came out the worst for their relationhip... and he was quick to defend honour. Mercutio, maybe, or Tybalt... I'd level towards Tybalt, you know how big HE was on honour.

Hell maybe Oberon actually IS Oberon, King of the Fairies... remember the guy running from sparkle in Joe's early videos? Could've been something to do with him. I've never read that play, what was he like? Was he the type to send threatening letters in anger?

Anyway, from what I've looked at on the site, it seems that they ARE the ones who have been sending Joe letters.

They are being INFURIATINGLY polite to each other, though. How odd.

As for Romeo, I suspect the poor lad was forced, blackmailed or manipulated into doing this.

Interesting theory there- now the faeries video, aka " Date in Park" makes sense.

I.e. The first place where Joe mentioned something weird was going on, with the puppets.

Oberon being Oberon doesn't fit.He only said the name "suits him today" although it's possible that the character has other names. Oberon also seems the most dangerous. He says he wants Joe "gone" which Pyramus quickly questions. I would say Oberon is an evil character and Pyramus is a good character. Oberon also says he wants his privacy back. While Angelus doen's actually object to making Joe "gone" he quickly suggests another course of action. He doesn't seem to be evil.

Just like I said, Romeo has been forced into doing this.

Oberon seems to be the most evil.

Angelus has been manipulated.

And Moriarty is trying to commit another murder.

Wrong. Angelus seems to be the head of the organisation. He doesn't appear to have been manipulated as he started the site. Romeo has given no indication he was forced to do anything, and Moriarty could want ANYTHING.

Perhaps we should all consider splitting into teams, with each of us focussing our attention on one of the four?

Okay who do we think we have so far? We suspect Steintiz is Moriarty, right? And Pyramus MAY be ROmeo but... I don't know about that personally, seems a bit obvious as a set up.

Angelus wanted Joe to stop. He questioned Oberon's decision to kill him. I'd say Oberon is both evil and powerful - both physically and psychologically (they were even hesitant to attract his attention). If he wasn't the leader - he is now.
