What exactly do these echoes look like when you're observing them on your smartphones? Is there any way that WE could see that, us folks who are not so tech-savvy?

It was retweeted by Tom. I have no idea who did that, but whoever that person is, it was already following me.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, but didn't pay attention.
I think we've officially spent too much time finding the followers and Tom kicked us in the direction that we should have taken a long time ago. I'm ashamed.

No, he isn't doing that. And he's on the forums. BTW, any ideas of what he has been doing after Echo Chamber ended?

I don't want to think about that. All the meta makes my head hurt. -_-

Ahem, seriously now. Tom says he's not related to the @FindTheEcho account, but he is active and follows almost 700 people - some dedication, if you ask me. And I didn't see anyone mention its creation here. Who is responsible? :?

Here's what the Layar app looks like when an echo is in range:

Just click on that silver pushpin thing to go to the web page with the password prompt. You have to be less than .2 miles away from the point of interest for it to show up if you change the range under the Info button. The default is within a few hundred feet.
