That's not true, he killed his father! Okay, I'm done. Maybe.

I feel bad for Mr. Administrator now.

AS WE HAVE SAID ON TWITTER, THE DATA FROM THESE TWO COMICS HAS BEEN INVALUABLE. THOUGH WE ARE NOT YET SURE HOW, WE BELIEVE THEY WILL BE KEY IN THE REFICTIONALIZATION PROCESS.

Huh "Foreshadow Machine" god I'd love to have something like that. I'm glad to see this is the explanation for the comic.

And don't worry I won't spoil anything. It's too late anyway. ;)

  1. Guys, whoever found the echoes - you are awesome.

I'd guess it was the info from Echoes that made them realise the shards were a result of their machine.
Still... it's kind of, I don't know. Maybe they suspected the shards were their doing, but didn't want to let on they had a foreshadowing machine until they really needed to, or something.

Maybe the instantiation answering the question that day wasn't aware of the foreshadowing machine incident. Here's what I think happened:

The disaster occurred. The wall was cracking. A couple of the instantiations were concerned and wanted to see what happened. They turned on the foreshadowing machine. It exploded, releasing the shards. The instantiations were scared they would get in trouble for breaking the machine, so they ran. Meanwhile, the comic shards floated downwards towards infinity, until they came across another instantiation, who realized that the shards had some significance related to the recent disasters, then mailed them out to everybody. This instantiation was the one answering the question, and he wasn't lying, because he truly did discover them without knowing who made them.

I hope that was simple enough.

Initial reaction: HOLY S@#T YOU CAUGHT MR. A IN A LIE!

Guess as to how Mr. A will explain this away (Wacky kinda ninja'd me): The instantiation who claimed not to know the comic's provenance was out of the loop; another instantiation was responsible for the foreshadow machine and presented the comic to the others without explaining to every one of them where it came from.

Of course, if Mr. A does handwave this away, I'm not sure if I'll believe the handwave or not.

META: The PMs accidentally contradicted themselves because somebody was having a bit of fun.

Aw, it's the woobie instantiation. Yeah, basically the explanation one would expect.

I've updated the shards page. What does suck is that we don't know the page order. >_<

Also, First Rule Of Dealing With Lying Cosmic Entities: Let them make their excuses themselves. What's wrong with you people?

There's no way he got the idea from me. He stopped reading this thread due to all the spoilages.

I wonder if it's the same guy who plays Foosball all the time. Maybe he does that because it's all he feels he is good at...

(also, pretty sure that's the explanation they would have come up with anyway. It's funny and lightly satires whatever miscommunication may have happened with the PM's.)

Actually, that might be a good way to keep information from Mr. A. Post spoilers before and after every post we want to keep hidden from him. He'll just gaze right over it without realizing.

I don't think there's any real way to stop Mr. A from reading our posts. Putting up spoilers might work but then he'll just watch the movies we're spoiling and continue on. Unless we make private chatroom or something there's not much we could do to stop him.

And, by the way. Everyone has probably realized that already, but I'll just point out that the echoes are created the moment the foreshadowed event happens.

Well, I'm quite pleased the comic echoes have been found, now we know what they were doing and how they look like at the moment.

I can't wait to see Cheshire's, Poirot's, Holmes's, The Witch's, Silver's and Gulliver's echoes.

Guys the LEAST POPULAR INSTANTIATION replied to me on twitter with:

I just said he was too kind and asked for his instantiation number in case we talk again.

I might've mentioned something like that a long time ago, but that was back when I was doing some research on the pages on my own.
