Below the face is a speech bubble that goes to a man without a head. The invisible man is also the likely character that everyone thought was Death or Slenderman, since he seems covered in rags and then disappears before the end of the video.

Guys, I know analyzing the comic for echoes is useful, and in its own ways, important. But none of this matters unless we start focusing our attention on getting people TO these locations. We have three already, and now we have a means of getting people to go these locations.

There's http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?di ... 0A49825700 this thread, which has access to a huge troper map, and we already got a list of new york tropers who we can try and contact to get to these echoes. I think, after the notebook scenario, it's time we focused our attention on completing these real world events now, and get to the examining of the shards later. If we can at least get to one of these echoes soon, we might actually have an advantage in knowledge, we can't risk potentially losing these.

If you wanna get it done, then delegate. Assign a player to a troper they have to message for help.

There's no reason why we can't do both. I, myself, am useless when it comes to contacting people and asking for favors. I can't even do that in real life. So why not let the people capable of finding people to send to these echoes do that, and let the rest of us focus on the other necessary tasks, like this one. Let each person play to their own strengths. That's why we have a team.

I think you just need to find a post the user has made and click the pm icon. I'm not sure how to compose the message otherwise. If you want, maybe we can write up a template and just pm the same thing amongst all of them. Also, I'd like to move this conversation back to the new york thread for now (since this is off topic, for which I apologize)

It's easiest to do on the forums; find a post by the troper you're looking for (use "find post by troper"), and there'll be a button that says "Send a private message to this troper" next to their name and location.

EDIT: Or what he said.

Damn, it took me five days to see your reply.

Tried to google "Invisible Griffin" (that's his name) in blogs since 15 Sep - nothing. I could check twitter, too, but my laptop's internet is being stubborn at that. =/
Also, the speech bubble is somewhat misplaced. I'm not sure what it means. That guy may just have a wide collar, or something.

I just had a thought. Maybe his face is bandaged up because he's scarred. That would fit with the comic and include him the Cabal. And fit the Law of Conservation of Characters. So the guy with the umbrella in the video would be...the Phantom of the Opera. Who, coincidentally, is scarred on the left (our left) side of his face, which fits the skeletal man in the comic (see the scars on the left side?).

Or maybe this is too neat, and I'm off the path again.

No, that makes sense. But we have to keep in mind that the man disappeared whithout trace. Could the Phantom do that?

Wasn't he really good at hiding from people? I've never seen the movie or the opera, so yeah, I should probably research it more.

If we're gonna talk about law of conservation of characters, we also have an unknown number of plague doctors and CERBERUS running around.

And a mermaid. And fairies. Yeah, I'm not certain those characters will play much of a part, but we'll see.

I've been trying to see if any other persumed fictional characters have blogs as well but with no luck. Prehaps they won't have they're real name on there straight away if there were anymore.

Any ideas who the other guy on that page above The Invisible Man is? I thought it could be Sweeney but it might be to psychotic looking to be him.

Wait, too psychotic looking to be Sweeney Todd?

Well, you don't really imagine him to have such a maniac grin but it is still possible to be him.

Seconded. He may also be the Death Figure (his face is kinda skeletal), but we haven't interacted with him yet. I think Sweeney's maniacal tendencies are yet to bite us in the ass. :?
WMG Just For Fun: that guy has no head because Sweeney chopped it off.

The "Death figure" with the maniac grin is possibly the Phantom of the Opera without his mask.

There's a problem with that. There's not enough picture to see if he has any scars - the unnatural color can just be because of lighting. Besides, our Phantom wears his mask on the right (left in the picture) side of the face - see the title page. That, coincidentally, is the part not shown on page 6. In short, if he is the Phantom, there's no way to confirm it.
