Echoes in the comic

So far, two of the locations for echos have been revealed in posts containing scenes from the comic.

Page 2 The witch walking in the rain under an umbrella. The same post contained the statue which is an echo.

Page 10 Holmes meeting Poirot at the ball. The plaza is also an echo.

Page 7 Another page shows an angry girl at a computer, which may be Juliet, with a person nearby reading a book. This could show the library in Baltimore.

The comic may contain hints for more echo locations.

I think this image might correspond to Juliet reading Romeo's sonnet to Vanessa, which would mean all three Echoes so far have a precedent in the comic.

Two other scenes could potentially be echoes.

* The man (I'm assuming is the Messiah) speaking to the group of women could be happening in a public place.
* The man and woman running in the park.

Though I doubt every scene leads to an echo. I doubt an echo would show up in some guy's living room, for example.

Another page appears to show the psychiatrist. This may be another echo, explaining why Mr. A wants Poirot in boston.

I don't see how that explains it. Does Poirot have a smart phone? Does he know how to use layar?

No, but him and Holmes' meeting at the plaza caused an echo. Maybe if he meets Todd it could cause another.

May be a bit far fetched, but could the man and woman running through the park be Sherlock and Cinderella. I know the man in the picture doesn't look much like the Holmes most people who think of but the last two depictions (Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch) were different from the usual look.

Those two runnin through the park are also on the cover, they seem to be the members of the cabal. We think the woman is Morgana, not sure about the suited man.

Wow, that's a good assumption.
However, there is a problem. If we assume that we are to find an echo from each character, there are not enough shards for all of them. Even now, even discounting the Cabal, there are more characters than there are shards.

THAT Messiah? Please elaborate on your reasoning.

I think the angry girl at the computer in that shard is Juliet.

Ah okay. It's strange no one can quite work out who he is, he does kind of have a distinct look to him. It would make sense them being cabal members. That woman really isn't how I'd picture Morgana though.

Dunno abou how she'd look, but the name Oberon is connected to Morgana.

I was joking. I was commenting on how the masses have flocked around him and seem to be hanging on his every word. Plus the fact that his face is obscured kind of gives off a feeling of some holy figure. But I don't really think the Messiah would be playing a part in this game. Just a joke.

I keep wondering if he's the same guy on the front page - there's not much of his face on both pictures to compare, but they are kinda similar.

I'm pretty sure the clothes are the same.

Also, I've only just noticed the fourth guy on the cover, and he looks REALLY familiar.

Morgana is a amster of shapechanging and disguise though, right? She could LOOK like whatever she wanted.

Oberon was a son of hers in a middle ages text, yes... with Julius Ceasar no less  I wonder if it's possible for both Mordred and Morgana to be in the Cabal without either realising it?

That'd be interesting but somehow I doubt it

If you mean the guy in blue with a sword - that's definitely the Phantom of the Opera.

No, the guy in between the phantom and the man in the suit with a goatee.

Goatee? :) That's a shadow! For comparison.

And no, I don't know who's that guy between them, either. If we assume that it's the Cabal on the front page, and that Moriarty is among them, I'd say that's him. But I don't want to jump to conclusions.

I worded that wrong, I meant the guy in between them has a goatee.

...That page dryu posted...

I'm sure someone's said it before, but that one would fit really well with the one with the witch and the umbrella.

But it's not raining in the one Dryu posted. Unless you mean fit as in shape?

I think it could be related to the witch as they look to be about to jump into water.

Point taken. I saw the green dress and jumped to conclusions. I don't think any of the shapes fit that well.

So can we speculate as to what other echoes there might be? Based on the comic, there won't be very many more. The Cheshire Cat, the Invisible Man/Skeleton Guy, the Cabal (twice?) and...?
