You can put me down for one at random, if you like. Will we be PMing through the TV tropes forums or here?

Tvtropes, these aren't players (yet), maybe coming up with a template will work best. Here's what I pm'd Hershel:
Hi, Hershele, me and a few other tropers are currently involved in the ARG for tvtropes, The Wall Will Fall. If you're familiar with alternate reality games, sometimes they'll have preform real world events in certain locations. We currently have something like that taking place in New York, and were hoping we could get your assistance (since you live in the area based off the Troper Map).

If you're willing to assistance us, we need you to download an app to your smartphone, http://www.layar.com/, which is some sort of augmented reality app. With it, you would go to the Plaza Hotel or Duffy Square (or Both :D) and use the app to look for specific objects. You would then click on the objects and use a password on them, Gurt, which would allow us to get the information from those areas.

If your interested in helping us beyond that, you can get a full run down of the story here, http://watchthefootage.twwf.info/?page_id=60. And we have a forum thread for technical support on layar here, viewtopic.php?f=19&t=210.

I hope to hear back from you soon.
If you ever need to ask the questions "Am I needed? Should I help them?" The answer is always yes. Always.

You have to search for them on TV tropes (I used the google search) and then PM them. The forum posts are the best way to do that.

You know, after taking this Interaction Design class, I think I really dislike the way TVTropes is set up. Not very user-friendly.

Yeah it was a little tricky to work out, not the most intuitive of designs ever but it worked. Thanks, I've got it now. rmctagg09 has been contacted.

I've contacted the nearest 4 to Baltimore.

Pneumatrap
IYellalot
Anemotaxis
BleiddWhitefalcon

We'll see if we get any bites. Should we open a new thread on Unfiction.com too?

Does he know anyone who does? =P The "Hey, talk to your friends as well" angel is maybe one we should try.

Not really that discouraged though as that list is actually quite long.

I asked if he had any friends and if he did, if he could get back to me. Maybe that'll yeild some results. We'll see, I guess.

We will now. ;)
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

Two new leads for one contact, good work Scarab =)

We should try to sell the game as well, even if they can't pick up the pieces. The more the merrier.

We shouldn't forget that you have to use the Echo layer in Layar. Layar's used for a bunch of things, and we need to use the program for it that is specific to this ARG, iirc.
