She may have been trying to get him to react so she could get data for the theory that he was identifying with Todd.

You just think everyone thinks like you. :P

But I agree; she's getting suspicious. And either way, she's in trouble.

Trouble indeed. I don't like that look. Does someone want to e-mail Poirot and ask him to keep an eye on her?

Sounds like a plan, I'll do it while I still have command of my faculties.

How's this

Dear Poirot,

This is an urgent message from your friends online. We are concerned about your most recent Client the psychiatrist with regards to her relationship with the patient. We believe mentioning his wife has gotten the patient started on some disturbing trains of thought. He is growing suspicious of her motives and behaviour and if this man IS, as they call him in his world, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street... she may be in danger.
We have no way of knowing this for certain, of course. In the past Sweeny Todd’s crimes were focussed most primarily upon men, but we are worried for her safety. Please keep an eye on her, if you can, she may need help.

Sincerely
The Metaguards.

His website email, right?

Looks good. Also might want to warn him that Holmes has confirmed that we are dealing with Moriarty. Perhaps he shall be extra careful. If you get a message back, post it wherever you think appropriate.

Done. I'll post it in Poirot's Blog Discussion page.

Damn it, the mail didn't go through. Bloody Mail Daemon. I guess I must've gotten the email wrong (I can't send them straigh from links because my mail client is imporperly installed or soemthing, so I opened the email link in a new page and emailed from there using my google account, but it doesn't seem to have worked.)

Can either somebody else send him the message, including an edit for Holmes and Moriarty, or can they send me his email address? Whichever is faster

Edit. It didn't go through, blast it. Somebody else will have to send it, sorry guys.

Here's the email I made:

On another equally urgent note. Your friend Holmes has also made a worrying discovery. One of the villains we are dealing with is his old rival James Moriarty, whom you already know is a highly dangerous, intelligent, and ruthless criminal. We believe he and his allies have already taken Cinderella hostage and who knows what else they have planned for us and you. Watch your back and be on your guard. They may try to contact BB also.

Stay safe. Please respond to let us know you received this message.

Sincerely
The Metaguards.

Sent, with some minor (mostly grammatical) tweaks. Subject line: An Urgent Warning
Now back to my essay. I'll let everyone know when I hear the reply.

I got a mail delivery failure, too. Possible it's not a real email address? Can anyone who's actually emailed Poirot before confirm/deny?

There was a discussion about how the email address on his page was a failure for some reason, but damned if I can remember where it is.

No that was about Holmes' e-mail. There was a typo in it. I think an 's' got left out for some reason.

What about that Gray/Grey stuff... Could be an intentional "test".

Also, to avoid spam. An real email written in plain text open to the whole web...

...Well, uhoh.

Perhaps we should just send him a comment on his blog?
