That is a screenshot from within the Layar app. It adds the bars on the bottom right which is the Layar menu and the 3D face is overlayed on top of the camera shot. The face actually rotates like a paper mâché mask and shows the inside of the face too. You have to point the camera/smartphone at just the right angle to get the face to appear and it gets larger and smaller depending on the distance to the hotspot.
