Well, he still hasn't actually gone and done it, so I wouldn't go counting these chickens yet. But there's hope.

Dilly, you are BONSUS!!!

...Now to identify a trope. What the hell? What is this I don't even.

...umyeah I think this one needs some more thought. There's something that I know is there, but my mind keeps skipping over it. Must be Metaneko's mindcontrol powers acting on me.

But it's interesting to note that, based on the art at least, he is NOT polydactyl. I don't even...

Thinking about this some more...

I think it could be Insurmountable Waist-High Fence, or Weaksauce Weakness.

Adell floated (in the chat) the possibility of Cheshire Grin, also.

thoughts?

Could just be Rhyme on a dime
Also possibly Convenient Weakness Placement

First, some meta:
  1. No password on the echo.
  2. 024.php? Seriously? What's going on with the echo names? My theory that they become easier was Jossed with LJS's echo, which had a regular gibberish name, and that name was... easy to brute-force, but still random (in the sense that we had nothing to guess it from). I'll try to make some 1337-5(r!p7 to brute the numbers, maybe. <_<

Now, the trope. Insurmountable Waist Height Fence sounds soooo appropriate, if we take it in the sense "an obstacle that should be passable, but isn't". It is a video game trope, but don't forget that the Schoolgirl Rival was taken more literally, too. We should just verify it with Mr. A.

UPD:
  1. Mr. A has confirmed the Fence trope.
  2. One more meta-thingy about this echo. It is not an image, but a html page with an embedded image. You can even look into the source. I have no idea what to think of that. GM concentration lapse? :?

Or maybe they are mixing it up with all sorts of different builds so that a single approach can't blow everything wide open. Like the .ezblog.co, for instance, not having Pan's contact line. :?

I personally wouldn't question it and just go with it.

Also, face of my nightmares. Holy shit kitty cat.

I think that the names SOMEHOW represent their Comic Book page number.

That is, until I saw Romeo's echo again.

So, based on the last panel, the cat lives with someone.

So that person will have read the cat's story for him.

He's alluded to the fact that he lives with people in previous tweets, even before his echo showed up. What surprised me is that he seems so helpless and so much like a normal cat.

I have been curious for a long time as to what the cat's situation is. Who the people who he's been living with are and whether they know who or what he is. Do they know that he's a fictional character? Do they know that he's been tweeting all this time? Can the cat speak to them, or did he lose that ability along with his ability to vanish and teleport? So many questions, I wonder if we'll ever know.

Also, we now know what #BlastThatFence means.

I always thought he was like that E-Trade baby in that commercial in the crib- hiding his means of communication from his human.
