Maybe. Like I said, it's a daunting prospect. You'd understand if you ever met him. But I'll bite the bullet and ask if no one can get to it by the weekend.

I have a friend in the NOLA area that I have poked about this. She actually already has an account on these forums, though I don't think she's posted.

My co-worker's office is 5 miles from that location and he is willing to go there but he is out of town for 2 weeks so let's see if someone else can get there before then.

Title: Assistance Requested with Alternate Reality Game

We need someone with a smartphone to visit a particular address in New Orleans and use an app called Layar to collect a piece of information. An international community is involved with this game, but none of us are located near New Orleans so we are seeking help.

I'm not sure whether URLs are permitted in Craigslist postings or not, but for the moment I'm assuming they are.

I definitely won't post it until tomorrow morning, so you've got until then to give me input, or argue that this is a terrible idea, although if you do that I'm unlikely to listen unless you also provide a better plan.

Update: I went ahead and posted the Craigslist ad. We might not get any bites, but I'm hoping we do.

Can the Cat use a smartphone? He seems kinda Tech Savvy, so if he has one he might be able to operate it, with Telekinesis or something.
