It seems the series of numbers are tied to Shakespeare's works. They're very reminiscent of a book code (e.g. first number is a line, second is a word, or something similar).

I was thinking about work-act-scene, but I don't know how that'd fit into solving the puzzle.

I'm fairly sure Shakespeare didn't write 154 plays, so that seems unlikely.

Okay, exactly 154 sonnets. My suggestion is that that's too obvious. I'd bet on Venus and Adonis, Lucretia, the Turtle, or the other more obscure poems.

Except sonnets have fourteen lines and the highest number in the second row is 14.

Exactly. First number is which sonnet it is, second is which line in the sonnet, and last is the character or word in that line.

First instinct is no, but they do count as characters towards a typed limit, so...

When in doubt, try it both ways and see which one makes sense.

Kind of makes me think that we were meant to find the pieces anyway once the characters were refictionalized. The reason Mr. A didn't mention it was because it's not relevant until everyone is fictionalized. But it doesn't seem to contradict anything he has said anyway, so please don't be too rough with him.

I dunno, mine didn't. But I think I made a mistake in the email. The site says that had to sell the store, so Miranda may actually be unaware of what we're looking for (I assumed she did). We'll see how it goes.
Maybe we should actually find a specific book, and we missed a hint.

UPD: Coincidentally, the "out of business" post has the same date as Mr. A's announcement of the Pan statues' letters (14th Nov).

Well, it looks like this piece was moved from Baltimore to Pittsburgh. Strange they would move it to a place that is a known place of interest. Might've been better to move it someplace that hadn't gotten any attention so far, but whatever, without elephant.

If the books have all been sold, then the piece may no longer be with these people. It's likely inside one of the books, and thus we must try to find who may have bought the book with the piece. I don't know though.

My suggestion is that it's in a Peter Pan book. That's where she showed up, not to mention the riddle; FEELS LIKE FEATHER=birds=auspice. When I clicked her email on the website, it didn't work. I intend to emal her when I gemy email back. We might get our first wall piece...

Alright, I emailed Miranda. I think the book MIGHT be that book Romeo was reading in his first echo. Here's a transcript of the first email:

I'm sorry to hear that you guys sold your shop, because I was wondering if you had a specific book I'm missing from my collection. It's called "Off the Top of My Head". Let me check my records for you. If we had it, I should have its current location in my records. If you can figure out the author, it might make my search go a little quicker. Everything is logged by the author. If not, I'll go as quickly as I can!

So, I think I might be on the right track.
Edit: I'm going to email her back and give her a description of the cover of the book. It might not help in the slightest, but it's worth the shot.
Edit2: Alright, I emailed her back, and I'm awaiting a response. Here's what I sent:

Hey, Miranda. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the name of the author. A google search of the title turned up nothing except for a few forums with a few pictures; however, they were too blurry for me to make out the author's name. I was, however, able to see the cover of the book. It shows a man in grayscale dressed in a suit and tie, but with the top half of his face cut off. This probably won't help you, but it's all I've got, unfortunately.

There are a couple of options. The cover, if it is a photograph, could be a picture of the author. That is more common in nonfiction books, particularly autobiographies. It could be a picture of the main focus of the book, which is common if it is a biography. It could also be a picture of the main character.

If any of these suggestions help you with identifying more about the book, let me know!

Okay, so any idea how to figure out the author of the book? There are books on Amazon with the title Off the Top of My Head, but I'm pretty sure none of them are what we're after.
