Pretty much.

It helps that he was literally drawn by an artist who has worked on DC's Batman comic at one point.

I KNEW that one was the batman artist. As soon as Tom mentioned it I KNEW the guy had to have done that one. It would have been just plain wrong NOT to have him do that one.

...This just makes the shoutout to GuestBatman even better, doesn't it?

I was trying really, really, hard to make Erik a character you couldn't POSSIBLY want to send back. With everything about him. I mean, his life is so much better here! And he's Batman!

But I didn't succeed. )=

I totally didn't want to send him back the moment I saw that echo.

I had issues with his logic, though. But I sorta made that clear already.

The Echo references Batman in the text, was drawn by a Batman artist, and discovered by GuestBatman after led there by a clue with a Batman logo.

I didn't really want to send Erik back, by the way. He was the nicest of the bunch. That didn't get any development, though, because we didn't have many interactions with any of them except for Morgan. And even less for Don Juan.

You're right. If only there were still some missing chat logs which revealed more about their character. :D

Indeed. They would help us, if we found them during the game. ;)

Gee... we'll get to it... eventually xD
Why should we do the right thing?
-Well... because it's the right thing to do, there's no other good reason.

Am I a bad guy trying to be good, or a good guy trying to convince himself that he's not the bad guy?

Y'know, if I didn't know any better, I'd assume you were incredibly-unsubtly hinting at something which we've missed.

But that'd be ridiculous.

Actually, seeing that echo made me really hope Mr. A was wrong or lying about not being able to leave any fictives on this side of the Wall, because DAMN, the world needs a Batman.
