Cheshire's Family

Although we did get a lot of interaction with the Cat, we never really got a good chance to learn about his life here in our world, and I'm especially interested in learning about the family that took him in. I know this is probably one of those things that if it was never discussed in the game that it isn't canon, but surely you guys had some ideas about who the humans were that took the cat in and how they reacted to him. I'd really like to know if they knew about his fictional existence and whether or not he could talk to them or if they knew he could type.

So, he seemed to be everywhere. But he also seemed to spend his time with that family, behind an insurmountable wall. Did he actually teleport around? What was he doing?
(And how come he never once trolled that family with his trademark disappearing smile? )

Merged these two, as they are basically the same.

He never used anything with permission, or his family's prior knowledge. Everything was "borrowed" :D

The family that took him in probably thought they were just bringing in a stray. Little did they know...

Did they not see his mouth, or just have no clue what cats are supposed to look like?

People will think anything is cute if they spend enough time around it and bond to it. I have kept some very strange pets.

I worked for a pet store back in high school. I can confirm this.

I always liked to imagine that Cheshire was adopted by a grandmother who didn't know much about computers, but they allowed her to see her grandson who lived a few states away easily via Skype chat... but she didn't use it for much beyond that. So Cheshire was really able to pretty much do whatever he wanted online.

This sounds like the perfect premise for a sitcom. An unsuspecting family takes in a stray animal that is much more intelligent than they know he gets into zany antics while also logging onto the internet behind the family's backs. In fact, I think Disney Channel already has this very show.

Yes. And it's as bad as it sounds.

Am I allowed to tell people that outrank me to stay on topic? :D Maybe I'll just politely request it then.

You should split the thread and move the half about Disney Channel to Off topic.
