Don Juan in Custody

Well, the detectives asked for our input. If we'd really decided that sending him back right away was more important than getting immediate info on the Cabal's echoes, would they have gone along with it? Or was that just meant to be our way of getting the Cabal's echoes? Also, was the Third Option that I (and maybe some others?) pushed for-- getting the information, then refic'ing him anyway-- ever really viable-- say, if more people had endorsed it, and if more people had sent in Juan refics?

I guess what I'm really asking is I'm trying to figure out how much of that was up to us, and how much was the detectives' decision. (They asked for our input. On the other hand, our input just spurred a debate between the two detectives.)
Why are we even arguing about a dead fictional dude and hypothetical ninjas?

You made what was, in my opinion, the better decision. We didn't really have a plan in place for what would happen if you'd let him go, but we would have found another way for you to find the echoes. It would have been more difficult, for you and for us.
