I understand that this moment was unavoidable, as one of the echoes reference it after the fact. But was it hard to actually get through? Did you guys intend for her death to cause such a strong reaction from us?

I actually didn't like her at all, as I probably said. Apparently, martyrdom gave her a lot of bonsus points. Or maybe it was not about her, but about Don Quixote. Everyone expected a climactic horseback rescue, and, well, you know what we got instead.![]()
And I recognized the Stylistic Suck in my very first post about the blog.
