Manfred Von Karma

Originally the Prosecutor was actually Manfred Von Karma, unnamed.

But his costume was too difficult.

Fact. The main reason was that the prosecutor being Manfred was a huge clue to Pan's trope comic, as I believe he is still the trope picture, but you guys got it anyway.

In many ways, this is better. The prosecutor being Manfred would have required a ton of handwaving.

Yeah, I will confess to being blinded by fanboyism on this one. It works with the fact that non-public domain characters could have crossed over unnoticed, as we hint at... but this would have been too direct and complicate things greatly.

Wound up becoming canon in a sideways manner, when Mr. A admitted to seeding the courtroom with tropes. From that game.

I was a fan of making him Von Karma, but as the producer of those videos I had to create the character from scratch... so I didn't let him be Von Karma. The guy who played him was pretty fantastic in making the character, though. I gave him a basic understanding and he rolled with it smashingly.

Confession time:

When I got given the Pan storyline I'd never played Phoenix Wright, so I had _no idea_ who MVK was. I did a little digging and watched a couple of YouTube clips but was painfully aware that he was a copyrighted character so anything I wrote would have to rely on inference rather than direct reference. Glad it worked out though :)

I thought he was too hammy. Looks like that was actually expected of him. :)

Needed to hit his head against the wall for the expy to be complete.
