How do you think that the letters were sent to Joe? Was it a magical spirit of sort who went there and put the letters in his mailbox? Or what could it be?

A possibility. After all most of the characters we've had so far or older or at least 'classic' characters and many of them were either in denial, or blind to their true origins in some way when they got here, and they can also be almost counted on one hand. If ALL of those letters came from fictional characters, surely we'd have seen more activity from them? Although right now I'm struggling to think who else they could be from...

Could there be some enemy here we haven't anticipated?

I posted domething like that on Quixote's thread. I'm starting to think somehing/one is manipulating the characters.

The same thing that is making them come to our world. But my point is about the letters sent by characters, as the Hogwart's one.

I wish I was here yesterday to ask the cat how he sent that letter...

Indeed, this is HIGHLY likely at this point. And there's a lot of possibilities as to who by. I mean, Moriarty has already played a fw people off against each other... I wonder if they might be playing the fictional characters like chess pieces, (which sometimes I wodner about us too, but we can only do the best we can and hope.)

I'm trying to think of some example in fiction where it's possible to send a hand written message to somebody via only knowing their name, and possibly appearance. Sadly the only example my limited brain can come up with right now is the method Spike the Dragon uses in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I'm PRETTY sure letters weren't just poofing into Joe's house in a cloud of green smoke, I suspect he would've noticed it at least once. If they start doing that I'll possibly freak.

I wonder if he's had anymore letters...
