I thought about that. He talks about meat quite often.

Is it possible that he is Sweeney Todd? Although there's a couple of problems with that: posts from before characters started crossing the wall, I thought Todd didn't have computer access, and why he's using the name Rick. But maybe they know each other?

I think its more likely that its a code of some kind. I don't know yet. Certain words stick out to me in each post.

Hmm. That's a good idea!

Considering that we've confirmed the presence of the Phantom, who may be a Cabal member, I think I'll ask him something to fit the mood of the musical I've just watched. Maybe he'll drop some hints.
If he is related to Cabal himself, though, they'll lose their shit when I do.

Hmmm. I think the Real Ultimate Power website is a dead end (I checked it out just in case-- it says it's maintained by a guy named Robert HAMBURGER, but I'm thinking that's coincidence; it looks like he's claiming the reference because the site is all about ninjas, and he made the ninja connection with his Japanese knife).
BUT... He seems to have taken to your Phanton suggestion. Hopefully we can discover more once he puts up the post.

I didn't catch the reference at first... I saw this site before, and yes, it's awesome.

Perhaps we are about to have some movements from the Cabal?

Wouldn't be surprised. If there is a code, it's really bloody vague. I'll try and figure out exactly what all the strangeness means, but no guarantees.

Devil's Food Cake

(Seriously I just want that because I LOVE that stuff. Asides from that I have no idea.)

Same here, it'd be the vaguest info we had yet but then, this is the biggest THREAT we've faced yet.
Time to take our game up a few notches, I think...

I don't think there's much to analyse but I tried looking through it.
With that in mind, though, it’s never too early to start planning on big meals. I’m next thinking Halloween.
Just reminded me of how the guys who were hacking Tara Coulson's blog were going on about something happening on Halloween.
Or the whole thing could just be a cryptic message about the apocalypse.

Well, in that case we won't have to worry too much about next halloween then >.>But yeah I'm pretty sure they're planning to 'get' her on Hallwoeen... when even the most outlandish fictionals could concievably blend in VERY well with their surroundings.
I'm fairly positive that opening page where he's talking about the guy in the white void is NOT coinscidence though. It's just too close.

Hey, it's not like I ever leave my hikikomori cave even on holidays... I'll be around.

I'll hypothetically be more around than usual, since there's no school that week.
On the other hand, my plan was to stay up past midnight on Oct 31 to get started on nanowrimo. So I might be busy writing.
But I'll see what I can do.

Oh NaNoWriMo... I want to take part too... But that would mean getting off the forum for a extended period of time that whole month... Hum...
But yeah,
something is happening in the halloween. That much is for sure... I mean, no one would miss the chance of having the fictionals blend into the crowd...

Huh, yeah I was going to do nanowrimo too... well I guess it's still entirely possible to do both that and this
It's going to be an interesting holiday, that's for sure...

Can't believe he actually did that, AND in a way that seems to make sense, given my request.
And the worst part - I have no idea what to make of it. Beside him saying that he'll actually try to cook it soon, I don't see how it may help us.
I would blush so hard if it turned out this is just a random guy who likes cooking.

All of the ideas are Pieces of Fiction we know about. Maybe we can learn more from those posts.
Also, I would really like to see them made...

Other than the fact that he gave equal post-time to the Phantom, Christine, and Raoul, I... also don't know what to make of it. It's unlikely that all three have crossed, and there weren't any commonly-recurring words to give us a hint about anything.
Don Quixote burgers were a good idea-- and the fact that that was the one he responded most positively makes me think he's not just a random guy who likes to cook (I was worrying that, too, while I read the Phantom post), because without the "Knight of Burger" (and Tara working at Arby's) connection from the ARG, burgers seem pretty random for Quixote. I guess we'll have to wait and see what he does with them.
Also, after his next update (we probably shouldn't throw too much at him at once, judging by his response to the Finch, or we won't get as clear an answer) maybe we should test theories with him again-- like asking for an Arthurian legend-inspired dish.

Hey! Bingo! That guy can be our litmus test!
I propose the following course of action: we suggest something else that is sure to hint at the existing characters, and then something related to a clearly unrelated character, and then compare the responses. Maybe we can use him for confirming our WMGs if we get something positive.
(Srsly, how the hell does he know about them?)

So how about we reference a character that would never show up? Like Harry Potter or Spiderman or something.

That's a good idea. That way, if we're not sure where his response to a WMG falls, we can see which it most resembles-- the definitely or the no-way.
