Yeah it's unlikely. On the contrary I think Edward's one of the few people Joe really trusts right now and I think he's probably right to. Edward's kept this whole thing running all this time, if he's a sabotager then he's not a very good one.

I'm still more worried about Mister A's intentions, to be frank... but I admit that's mostly just my genre savvy about his suspicious nature and appearance kicking in. He seemed like a nice guy when he was actually thanked for something rather than treated with suspicion, maybe I've got him all wrong and he just doesn't know how to communciate with us in a way that doesn't look suspicious.

It's not a problem. Most of us are from the TVTropes, so we use the vernacular from there a lot. If you see a term you don't understand, it's fine to ask about it.

Well, allow me to explain. With the information we have here, we can use the old work phone and the Boston phone directory to locate her workplace. Then, we can use Google maps or something to locate all dry cleaners in the vicinity and add them as suspect locations. If we have her home phone, we can similarly locate her house and then check locations around that, and more importantly, locations between the two. With that, we have a list of possible cleaners.

Now, as to the pickup method, we would need someone in Boston, and we have maybe one person. They would need to begin systematically checking dry cleaner locations for Joan Lawson's dry cleaning, and if they get a wrong location, they could seem very suspicious. Once they find the location, however, they would need to say that they were there to pick up her clothes for her. If she is an irregular customer, and they have low security, you can probably get away with that. Any other situation, and you might be screwed. Picking up someone else's clothes without their permission IS stealing, and therefore illegal.

Finally, it's all moot since the only possible info we could get would be something she left in her clothes when she dropped them off. It would need to be noticed by the person who invoiced the clothes originally, and then deemed by them important-looking enough to keep in storage till the customer came back. It MIGHT be what we are supposed to do, but it seems like a pretty big long-shot to me. It is also far more dangerous if we mess up, since we will have someone there in person and stealing is a much easier thing to get caught doing.

It's just some random thought, that I guessed was worthy to comment. Anyways, the opposing force don't need to be one of us, since anyone can read this forum. Wait. Could Ed make this forum user-only?

The main reason I distrust Mr. A is we never know which instantiation we're talking to.

And the word is saboteur.

I agree, but it seems Mr. A on the level of heelface/faceheel he could be at Severus Snape level. Meaning we are probably meant to think he is a traitor when he could just be a glorified red herring.

You're forgetting Mr. A has infinite instantiations, all with different personalities. As they are infinite, at least one has to be evil.

I also didn't mention the fact that almost all dry cleaners require payment when you pickup, and therefore whoever did it would also have to shell out cash.

No kidding... Maybe we could make him a cake or something, at least one of him seems to appreciate people being nice (that's my one in the morning logic and I'm sticking with it).

Okay THAT'S a good point... on the other hand, this could be another scheme. You could be trying to fool us by pretending to be joking about being secretly evil... or something.
Oh jeeze, now I'm just confused. Can I just assume you're a good guy and save myself the mental hangover, please? :?

Ed, meet TV Tropers. After you have read even ONE WMG page for a series, you shouldn't be surprised in the slightest by stuff like this.

I was just reminded or something. Admin Prime calls himself the unsmiler, so any time Mr. A smiles, we can assume it isn't Admin Prime. That means the Mr. A smiling in the update video on his youtube wasn't Admin Prime.
