As far as facts go, that's about what we have on this... Now, if we go into theories... I do have some... But it's 2:30AM here. I'm not in the right mind to write the necessary wall... Maybe someone else will do it...

Hua Mulan,
King Arthur and Merlin,
Pinocchio <Averagejoe vid, anyone?>
Various characters from Lovecraft
And what about that group that may be against us?
How about the Illuminati, or the Knights Templar?

So far the only characters we've seen tend to have their origins in literature, though they usually also have countless modern adaptations, films, series, etc, because they're so well known. They all begin with literature though. I don't think their genre is as important as their age (books are just one of the oldest forms of storytelling going still in use today).
As time goes on and the cracks widen I'm sure newer, less well known characters will start breaking through, possibly from other mediums. We're already up to somebody who may very well be from the Vampire Hunter Chronicles.

Oh lord, I wouldn't, that guy is on my list of "People I really, really DON'T want to see come through the wall". He's above the Daleks on the list, but below Cthulhu.
Your strange way of speaking aside, good sir, you're correct: there are a LOT of them, probably a great many of whom we've missed. I'm hoenstly surprised we haven't seen more of them in the news by now.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that there are DEFINITELY more, probably a lot more - we still have no idea where the mermaid, or cinderella, or that guy being chased by what I think were fairies went, or that knight...

In the original videos of WTF, several characters were shown simply walking around. So, I believe it should still be noted.

What if there's some sort of Weirdness Censor around the characters?
Just3Observing wrote:I'm not sure how this would work, but we can't deny it as possible. Still, if you were to see someone dressed up in character (before finding this) would you really think it was anything more than someone who likes dressing up?
Still, I do agree that there are probably quite a few more characters loose than we can keep track of. I highly doubt that many of them are online either.
