She was bitten to be turned and saved from the final transformation by the heroes going to hell and back to slay Dracula in time... So... She crosses after the bite, but before being 'cured': We now have a time bomb on our hands!

Yes, Carmilla is Public Domain, but much less recognized, so I wouldn't expect her to be our Vampire on this side. If we get a vampire on this side, that is.

I don't know which book that is from, but Bram Stoker that is not.

Perhaps it's my interpretation on the matter. But she was bitten when the Count was in their city AND fed his blood! Lest we forget that little piece of lore. And also was taken to his castle at the end, where she stood in a circle being taunted with "soon you'll be with us". I always saw those scenes as part of the ritual of transformation.

Yeah, she didn't die. If she had, she would have become one. With Dracula dead, she is not in danger. The ending is happy, one of hope after the horrors they endured.

It would be cool if james bond appeared because he would work great with Hercule and sherlock and he was a book charater before the movies were made.

He's not public domain, so I think it's unlikely. But it WOULD be awesome.
