"He," huh? That's interesting...

It sounds like maybe he was referring to Mr. A in that tweet. The Cat may have run into him, and he probably would be upset if we started calling him a monster, though for all we know the title may be fitting.

While I suspect CC knows what we MEANT by asking him about a monster, be careful. This could be misleading info. (e.g. There could have been someone causing havoc, but that might have been unrelated to the ARG, or perhaps it WAS tangentially related, but it wasn't the main cause for the evacuation of fiction land like we think.

HOWEVER, if it IS a legitimate, if cryptic, response, then we have a single subject, who is very likely cause this either accidentally, or against his will.

I can't help but feel Chesie is implying something more though. As Goldude just noted on TV Tropes, even his seemingly random link to that Frontier Psychiatrist vid was a hint, thought we didn't know until later.

EDIT: Oh, THAT'S what he meant about the anti ninja feature. Nice.

Cheshire could just be being polite. Or, sometimes, it could just be used with the same finality of (if I am not wrong, it could be another character) Nyx, that usually was refered to as 'she', when 'it' would seems more apropiated. But I'm just saying.

Well we asked what he saw running through the wall, not what he saw before crossing. When he ran through the wall I would expect him to see Mr. A, but one thing interested me. He didn't deny he was running.

That's because we didn't insinuate it.

Exact words: There's something we forgot to ask, sir Cat. When you were crossing the wall, did you happen to see a monster running amok?

Response: He would be quite upset to hear himself referred to in such a manner. Hurt, even...

Also, regardless, that's kinda out there. The cat could just have been moving at a faster than walking pace and he would still be telling the truth. I find it safe to analyze everything that guy says, as funny and cool as he is, under the assumption that he is a master level truth twister.

You know, I just now realized that we may be ignoring our best source of information. After all, who better to rely on than LIME-MAN!

In all seriousness, though, the awesomest lime in the world just so happens to be on the other side of the wall, AND have the stated purpose of letting us know when there is trouble over there. There seems to be only one setback; namely, the fact that his Twitter is overseen by, and likely actually used by Mr. A's EGGS instantiation, leaving a very real possibility for Mr. A to keep back some info. Still, even if that happens, it might be worth it to ask him. If, due to Mr. A, he ignores us, refuses to answer, or outright LIES, that can tell us things too.

For example: Ignoring a set of near identical questions from many players may imply that this tangent is not actually important at the moment in a meta sense.
A refusal to answer should obviously mean more suspicion leveled at Mr. A, an increased likelihood that he has something to do with the root of the issue, and an ever growing possibility that the guardians have become his puppets.
An outright lie will likely be crafted so that we cannot, at this time, tell it from the truth, so any actual answer should be taken with a pinch of salt. However, I think this is the least likely of the options, as there is very little for Mr. A to gain from it, and in any case will send us down the path that the 'puppet masters' want us to head down, thereby advancing the 'plot'.

I suspect that the most likely result will be a cryptic answer (If this is relevant) or total shunning (If it isn't).

Look it doesn't matter what you call it. It's goal is pretty much the same either way. A being like that could have many names, Like the devil or Randal Flagg. I only called it Nemesis for two reasons. One, the best monsters value their incomprehensible nature. Calling it a name even if it's not it's real name, diminishes it's intimidation factor. Second, this thing is hell bent on destroying all worlds including our own. Oh and one more thing, it's not alone. It has minions from ordinary dark hearted humans, to slaves, to other races that could be non existent today. I know that because during one of these "travels" into the other side, I fought with one.

Dude I don't mean to insult you but this is a game, calm down we are just players. Second of all it could just honestly be that characters have sucky lives after their story ends and just decided to come over here.

But the enemy theory is a pretty decent idea and it gives us something to rally against.

I didn't see any indication of that and just assumed we should be posting as normal every day people evistigating an ARG. If I am wrong than I will appologise and delete my last few posts or ask a mod to do so.

Well, I'm kinda going with it's OK to nudge the Fourth Wall of the ARG a tad, just don't blatantly snap it. After all, that would be WAY too ironic.

I thought that too, so I'm trying to get him to be more specific.

Also, for goosesake, people, trim your quotes before posting. Half of the forum space is occupied by overquoting now, and it's very annoying.

So wait. Joe's denied this is an ARG. Yet he and his crony set up this forum to specifically talk about his videos, the characters we've uncovered and... the fact that THIS IS AN ARG... even though he denies that it exists. That's alot of meta action going on there.

Try not to think about it and let's just go back to what we were doing. Also, no one at all is going to take up the Lime man idea? I would, but I have no Twitter, and it would be safer for more people to tweet him at once with the same question, thus making data collected in the event of an ignoring more reliable.

I don't see much of a problem with it. Mr. A already knows what I suggested, most likely, as I confirmed that he was on the forum at the time of posting. In fact, that was just another aspect of my plan. If he tries to react in a way different than the ones I have suggested, I can add to some data I have been collecting on the side.

Basically, what I'm saying is: it won't hurt to try, and I've managed to plan for every possible outcome my human brain can calculate.

P.S. Yes, Mr. A, I purposely posted this while you were online AGAIN. Problem? 8-)

Alright might as well ask the question. Anyone ever consider the possibility that this stuff could be real and the whole Mr. Administrator thing was designed to make us question it?

Dude, we never said it was an ARG. That's a crazy theory. But, this is a forum for discussing theories, and since that seems to be one despite obviously being wrong, we are not going to stop you from talking about it.

That's all the confirmation I was looking for.

Though if I may interject, I believe that most people believed that this was all an ARG, because of Mr. A. I looked up Echo Chamber some time ago, and well mostly he is a fictional character. When he acknowledged Joes findings it got people thinking that Joe might have been playing along.

Just the fact that you took the time to reply pleases me very much. Especially since it's Saturday night and you could be doing a plethora of other things. It's a very disciplined and reasoned response that, given light of recent developments, makes the most sense around here. :) We'll just have to agree to disagree on which theories are "obviously wrong". Though I will admit Ockham's razor dictates that you are more right than I.
But what if this ARG theory proves to be correct. Then what?
(And I just realized I may be further derailing this thread... sorry all.)

So guys I think everyone here is a least a little thinking about whatever our 'Enemy' or 'Nemesis' is. Under the assumption that it exists what would be so worrying about it that it would make a brave Knight, an insane cat, a magical runner, and so on try to escape of a world with no magic/advanced tech?

I might as well say it, whether this is real or not does not matter to me. Though the fact of the matter is that the reason why I was behaving so erratic on the subject, is because. Well I write journals about the things I dream about in an attempt at what is commonly known as Dream Recall. When this topic of a multiversal destroying monster, like the one you guys are talking about matched one of my journals. Whether you people believe this or not, I understand along with your reasons why and respect that. What I do know though was that it matched to what I written down, to the point where that mention of it frightened me. What are the odds that out of the blue someone talks about something like that? Very rare I can tell you that.

Like I said before, speculation is pointless without information. There is such a tiny chance of us getting it right, if we are even on the right trail, that it is almost impossible. Most likely, we will just guess wrong. Worst case scenario, all of our guesses are going to tear apart the fabric of space time before our eyes and eat us alive.

I still hold that my Lime Man plan is the best all around option. No risk, little effort, and a chance of a high gain. Does anyone else have other ideas for collection info as to why all of these characters are running to this world?
