Making Maps

Postby Scarab on Tue Oct 16, 2012 11:34 am

Okay, entirely possible this could go nowhere but what the hell, it’s worth a shot. I'm trying to put together a map of exactly where each of the characters we know about first appeared in this world so we can see whether or not there's a pattern. Could you guys check what I have so far, and let me know what I’m missing? I know I’m missing a lot... could you guys help me fill in the gaps

The Puppets – Prague, Czech Republic
Sherlock Holmes – First arrived in London, England
Poirot, first arrived in London, England
The Witch Witch of the West – First arrived in Kansas, America
Romeo and Juliet – Are... in America somewhere, god knows where (somebody said there’s a Verona in the US?)
Sweeny Todd – Not sure, but I THINK he’s in Boston (that’s where the psychiatrist is)
Don Quixote – Seattle – America
Long John Silver – Arrived in Australia, Now in Japan
Gulliver – Arrived in Australia, now in Japan
Cinderella - New York City (we have an actual recording of this one)

Would anybody happen to know where anybody else is? Where was Cinderella again, are we sure she’s in New York? And what about the new ones mentioned?

They sometimes say, "the place where I am right now was circled on a map for me"... Unfortunately, I kind of suck at orienteering.

I think we should add these to the troper map, if they're not already there.
Marching on together.

Good plan, knowing my rate-of-catching-on they're probably already there. I'll pop over and see about adding the ones I know.

Scratch that, they're already there looks like soembody got to that before me. :D

Ya can lock this or get rid of it, if ya want guys, unless somebody wants to add their ORIGINAL locations, they didn't all start out in the same place.

Cindy definitely ARRIVED in New York, but her location as of now is unknown.
Normal people are the easiest to manipulate. Too smart and they have an annoying tendency to catch wind of your plans, too dumb and, in the words of a certain pirate, "You can never tell when they are about to do something incredibly...stupid."

How do we know that? Did the Youtube video come from New York? It looked like a generic subway to me.
The wall will fall, if they stay; then we'll fight another day.
Never fear, the tropers here will help the written find their way.

Confirmed to be from a New York subway station by Joe. He didn't get any more specific because the user asked him to respect her privacy.
