I take it we're not including the more generic of symbolic characters who are less characters than archetypes? The puppets and the black dog and so on...

What about the guy who may very well be Poirot?

There were Sparkly Guy (no consensus on his fiction), Chainmail Guy (as well), mermaid / kitsune, Slender Man / Death Figure ("Gashlycrumb Tinies"), Cerberus, Plague Doctors, Cinderella, Spejbl and Hurvinek puppets. Also, Cheshire Cat, Poirot, Sherlock / Moriarty, and the psychiatrist's patient. I believe I didn't miss anything.

I've seen plenty of Slender Man videos, I would say the guy at the wedding was not Slender Man.

Well, after the picture of the Death Figure popped up, the theory shriveled up and died.
(BTW, an article about that ARG that Tom tweeted DID say that there was a Slender Man. Those people... :gurt: )

Unless... Slender Man can't be seen unless he's after you (maybe, there's loads of theories.) So he could definitely be here. He could be anywhere. He could be stood right behind you!!! RUN!!!

Be that as it may... why would Slenderman show up at a wedding in the first place? Isn't he meant to be connected with children? I mean, I can't say what ELSE it could be, but...

 The funny part is that there was a guy with an account on Youtube named "Slenderman" (No, really), that commented on Joe's video, but Mr. Cake said that he wasn't important

In my opinion it was a Vampire. The umbrella was shielding him from the sun. It's not a standard vampire but there's so many different interpretations one of them must fit.

Is it just me, or he is a bit too... Bulky?... To be "Slender"man? :gurt:

But honestly though, I'd give it a go as Frankestien's Monster or The Invisible Man. Clothes everywere so that no skin is showing, white and featureless face could either be lividity and distance from the camera or lots of make up powder and the distance from the camera.

I find it odd that most people would jump straight to Slender, I mean, his arms look pretty much normal lenght, not like the whip-style he's usually pictured on. He's not inhumanly tall either.

I still wonder where the plague doctors are from. They are the only escapees who we don't even have a guess for what fiction they come from

They could be the doctors from Assassin's Creed II.

I suggested "The Fear Mythos"

It's bad enough if they're standard plague doctors and plague carrying rats come through.

Plague doctors are real so fictions instances of them could potentially be in many works.

The plague doctors gave me an idea for a WMG. Could people from history books come through? No historical account is completely accurate, there's bias dependant on who writes it and some of it may be speculation. Do I need a tin foil hat again?

And that is precisely what's bothering me, we don't even have a very good guess. Even with the sparkling man we have a few good guesses

On the subject of the plague doctor(s) (there might have been two of them) I really don't think they are planning any great disaster. Sure they look scary and all but one was seen walking his dog, the (possible other) was seen sitting down and even gave a polite wave. So I don't think they/it is the same one from the Fear Mythos.

Even the evil overlords would like to take a vacation, and if they are lawful evil, I don't see why the couldn't be polite. But I seem to have missed my point. Anyway, what do you think about the video characters: will they be important or not?
