This is the main thread for the comic discussion. Since I will have to leave soon, I will just write here some topics that I think we should discuss now:EDIT: I am back.

Not what I meant. I mean we should make a section for the comic like there's a section for each character.

I know it, but relation in between the pages would be complicated that ay. Also, I am not an administrator.

We can ask Edward for one, and then have a thread in it for each page.

Still not solving the relation in-between pages problem.

I think one comic thread will suffice. If it doesn't, we can always branch the topics to new threads.

Hi Guys-

It's me, the Wild West Pyro.

Back to the ARG:

I've got a feeling that the Comic's going to show the future events.

Hugh seems to hate Reynald- Moriaty's turning them against each other. So much for the two greatest detectives of all time working together.

I'm new here, can anyone catch me up on what's happened so far?

Also, a theory concerning masks.

I'm guessing Reynald is wearing a mask that looks like Albert Finney from the Murder on the Orient Express movie, but behind the mask, he looks exactly like David Suchard from Agatha Christie's Poirot. And Hugh is wearing a mask that makes him look like Benedict Cumberbatch from Sherlock, but behind his mask, he looks like Basil Rathbone when he's playing Holmes.

Both of them are running now, and hopefully they'll work together. I'd like to see them stuck in the same room together, poring over the letters.

From what I've seen, they obviously know how to use a computer/laptop, and how to set up a blog. And both are being very clever in order to confuse Mr. A, or whoever is behind the whole thing- they've got blogs, aliases and masks.

I just hope, we'll be able to find out who is really behind this whole Fourth Wall collapse.

Hm... maybe what we're dealing with am kind of merged versions of these characters, then? We were sort of working with the diea that HOlmes and Poirot, at least, were the orgiinals (I'm not convinced Moriarty is the original, he seems a bit too savvy of modernity for that).

Well, Holmes didn't really understand the blogging thing at the start, right? He called the internet "witchcraft" and was very unfamilair with modern social norms, but he's gotten to grips with things rather fast, considering... well, he is Holmes, I guess.

Both of them are running now, and hopefully they'll work together. I'd like to see them stuck in the same room together, poring over the letters.

Indeed, wouldn't we all? I guess all we can do is keep hoping that some of the misconceptions they have about one another can be dispelled - I mean, they ARE the world's greatest detectives so it's entirely possible they'll work out what's going on entirely on their own without any help from us (frankly I'd be dissapointed if they didn't.)

So this seems to be a comic thread so thought I should bring this up here as well. Does anyone else think this comic book is telling us what will happen in the future not the past?

It's a possibility. It seems to have predicted a few things'... although Poirot and Holmes blogs have been goig for a while, did they exist before or AFTER the comic was sent out?

Hell, maybe it's choosing to show both the future AND the past and was put together by soembody who has no grasp of linear memory? They say it's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards... Although hat said, it seems to be predicting things mostly, so far (at least from what I know.)

I was looking at the blue box in the center of one of the images and noticed something, I think you all noticed it too, but there is a person in the center of it, I thought it was a reflection but judging by the shape of the person, his face being partially covered, and the suit, it looks similar to Mr. A. the fact that it looks like glass shattering makes me feel that maybe he is the culprit breaking the wall. Take all the glowing and what not out of the box and essentially looks like a stone shattering glass.

:!: WMG - Maybe the prism at the cover isn't creating the cracks, but "sucking" them back. - WMG :!:

Good point. The first page may actually be the end. Why not? It's quite unlikely that we will repair the wall by ourselves.

I have a question. What was in the back side of the comic? In the front, we had the cover image. What was on the other side?
Note: Gotta go. I should be back in one hour or two.

If I'm not mistaken, it was the same page, but mirrored.

So I think that we have 2 options:
  1. Everything will end in the same way it will start
  2. The comic show us the future, but from the moment it was made, that is, from our point of view, it is at the same time the past, the present and the future, whether the comic was written before or after the wall broke, or even was written in the future and sent back to the past.

Well, I suppose you don't read Homestuck nor do many players, so instead of using it as an example I will have to make up something. Let me see:
<past<--0-1---2-|present|----3->future>
0 = Events that happened prior to the break of the wall, as maybe in the page 8
1 = Events that happened while the wall broke, as in the cover
2 = Events that are happening now, or have happened recently, as in page 10
3 = Events that will happen, as in page 6

...Essentially, shenanigans. That's as far as my understanding of how it does in Homestuck ever went, to be hones, I'm still sort of just pretending I know what the heck is going on.

But I think I get what you meant there: we're getting to see the past, present and future (well fragments of it) in the form of the comic book (at least it was the past, present and future at the time the comic book was sent to people, some of the things that were present are now past and so on).
